Synopsis
Female detective Hannah Maes leads a police squad, specialized in sexual offenses. A smaller, but important part of the story is about the private quest of Hannah. She investigates a past robbery at her home and the subsequent brutal rape of her mother.
Episode 13 : The oasis - part 2

Hannah blijft verwoed op zoek naar de verkrachter van de comateuze Elke én de moordenaar van Vicky. De sexy inspecteur krijgt het steeds moeilijker om haar emoties onder controle te houden en drijft haar dienst tot het uiterste. Het team onderzoekt het verband tussen het leegstaand pand en het huis waar Vicky werd vermoord. Wanneer het spoor hen opnieuw naar de Oase leidt, besluit de zedensectie een huiszoeking te organiseren. Christine die reeds geruime tijd in de instelling verblijft, tipt het team over de mysterieuze kelder van De Oase. Intussen begint Robert er stilaan bovenop te komen en komt Hannah meer te weten over haar broer Bart. Net wanneer Hannah in de handen van de verkrachter dreigt te vallen, bereikt haar queeste een nieuw dramatisch hoogtepunt.

De 20-jarige Elke Verbiest is het slachtoffer geworden van een gruwelijke groepsverkrachting en is daarna voor dood achtergelaten. Hannah Maes en haar team zetten alles op alles om de zaak op te helderen en komen op het spoor van instelling De Oase en oprichter Jules Uitdenhouwe. Wanneer Hannah en Bob een kijkje gaan nemen in de instelling lopen ze er ook Vicky Renders tegen het lijf. Omdat er verschillende DNA-sporen gevonden zijn bij Elke, wordt de zaak steeds complexer. Hoewel Hannah ervan overtuigd is dat Jules meer weet over de zaak, lijkt het onderzoek hen te leiden naar Gunther Devalck. Terwijl Hannah vreest voor het geesteswelzijn van haar vriendin Vicky, neemt haar eigen queeste haar steeds meer in zijn bezit. Samen met Koen waakt ze immers dag en nacht bij haar afkickende vader Robert.
Episode 11 : Neighbours

Het team van Hannah Maes wordt opgeroepen nadat de veertienjarige Pieter Verhaelen een zelfmoordpoging heeft ondernomen. Via Guy Terlingen, zijn leider bij de jeugdbeweging, komen ze te weten dat Pieter seksueel misbruikt werd en dat dit waarschijnlijk de aanleiding is voor zijn wanhoopsdaad. Hannah sluit niets uit en naast de rol van Guy onderzoekt ze ook een spoor dat leidt naar Jef Denolf, een uitgetreden priester die een verleden van kindermisbruik met zich meedraagt.
Ondertussen zet commissaris Mark Vermaelen Charles op een andere case omdat hij van mening is dat de ervaren speurder te emotioneel betrokken is bij de zaak. Nadat Hannah de schokkende dvd van haar vader onder ogen heeft gekregen, leidt haar queeste haar naar een nieuwe climax.
