Trailer Synopsis

This 1959-1963 television situation comedy series follows the lives of the Mitchell family, Henry, Alice, and their only child Dennis, an energetic, trouble-prone, mischievous, but well-meaning boy, who often tangles with his peace-and-quiet-loving neighbor George Wilson, a retired salesman, or, later, with George's brother John, a writer. Dennis is basically a good, well-intentioned boy who always tries to help people, but who winds up making situations worse – often at Mr. Wilson's expense.

Mr. Wilson tricks Dennis into taking a silver coin that says GOOD LUCK and a horseshoe on it instead of 50 cents that he owes him for cutting his lawn. Mrs. Wilson is very angry with him about it. So, she and Alice start a scheme of their own by making lucky things happen to Dennis all day. Mr. Wilson soon starts to believe that the coin was lucky after all and is sorry he ever let it go. He then realizes that it was all a charade to teach him a lesson.

Now they are in a real mess because Mr. Wilson has something very important locked in the safe. So Mr. Wilson tries everything including trying to hypnotize Dennis so he can remember the combination. He ends up hypnotizing himself and remembers the combination at last.
