Gus and Lucy, pretending to be pirates, rescue mermaid Karrot. After creating a make-shift pirate ship in Lucy's living room, they follow the map and go on a hunt for treasure. They fight over who gets to be the captain and learn to take turns.

Gus and Karrot are having fun using a stethoscope, when they realize Karrot's heart beat is highly unusual. They find Lucy gardening and let her listen to Karrot's heart beat. She uses pots and pans to teach them about rhythm and beats.

It's cold and windy, so Gus, Karrot, and Lucy have an epic play day inside. After building forts, doing puzzles, having pretend tea, and more, they are left with a mess. Lucy sets a timer and they sing a song while cleaning up.

Gus follows a bee and finds Lucy and Karrot collecting honey from a hive. Lucy teaches about how honey is created and then shares a glass of tea with Gus and Karrot.

Gus and Karrot are inspired to paint! Lucy shows them how to mix certain colors to create new ones. They paint self portraits and celebrate their uniqueness.

Gus, Karrot, and Lucy try to find Karrot's missing ball. They search everywhere, but Karrot loses all hope of ever finding it. Lucy sings about the importance of not giving up.
