Trailer Synopsis

The Sentinel is a Canadian-produced television series. In the jungles of peru, the fight for survival heightened his senses. Now, Detective Jim Ellison is a sentinel in the fight for justice. Anthropologist Blair Sandburg works side by side with Jim, helping him develop these senses.

Eight years ago: A 12-year-old girl named Stacey is woken in the middle of the night by her parents, who take her and flee their home. The family's car is run off the road, killing the parents and placing Stacey in a coma.

A construction foreman is murdered at a racetrack under renovation, and his body is hidden in a pillar. Weeks later, Banks attends the opening of the racetrack with friends, and Ellison attends a police benefit at the track's turf club. During the benefit event, one of Banks' friends is pushed from the roof, and falls to his death in what looks to the partygoers to be a suicide.

A birthday party for Katrina, a young Russian woman, is interrupted by a vicious attack that claims the life of two men and ends with the theft of a mysterious black suitcase from the woman's boyfriend, Sergei. Ellison and Sandburg receive little cooperation from the witnesses, but Ellison's "Sentinel" intuition leads him to discover a gold neckchain worn by Sergei is, in fact, radioactive.
