En route to his fourth win in a row at the Vuelta a España, Primož Roglič's season takes another dramatic turn. Wout van Aert loads up one last time in Australia for the battle for the world title. In the same country, Tom Dumoulin begins a new life after a drastic decision.

It is the summer of Team Jumbo-Visma. In the Tour de France, the team is unbeatable. A frenzied crowd receives Jonas Vingegaard as the winner in Copenhagen. Also in the Vuelta a España, Jumbo-Visma seems unbeatable, the team playing with the rest of the peloton in the first days.

Ten years after cycling in the Netherlands was on the verge of collapse, Team Jumbo-Visma has forged a plan with which it intends to achieve a unique achievement in cycling: win the yellow and green jersey in the Tour de France. The first stages are immediately brimming with excitement.

Full of doubts, front man Tom Dumoulin is starting in the first grand tour of the year: the Giro d'Italia. The dream of returning to the highest level of cycling after his intermission is shattered. Koen Bouwman, his companion at the training camp in Colombia, rises above himself in the Giro. Together they achieve a performance no one thought possible.

During the first training camp in December, the ambitions for the new season are announced. On the way to the first big goal of 2022, a victory in one of the spring classics, Wout van Aert is struck by fate. At the same time, Tom Dumoulin is working on his comeback as a cyclist in Colombia.
