Trailer Synopsis

Three experts scour the nation to find the country’s most amazing home. Interior designer Mandy Watkins and architect Glen Thomas will be judging on functionality, distinctiveness and clever design. Joining them is Owain Wyn Evans who has a passion for property and will be looking for a home which reveals the owner’s personality and individual style.

Episode 6 : Grand Final

It’s the grand final! Judges Owain Wyn Evans, interior designer Mandy Watkins and architectural designer Glen Thomas have scoured the country in search of Wales’ Home of the Year 2023. It’s now down to the final five homes – the winners of each regional episode – to go head-to-head. But only one of them can be the winner of the prestigious title.
Episode 5 : South West

In the south west, the judges must choose between an upside-down house in Gower, a Victorian terrace in Mumbles, and a restored Victorian farmhouse in Carmarthenshire.
Episode 4 : Mid Wales and the Valleys

In mid Wales and the valleys, the judges choose between a 17th century barn conversion in Monmouthshire, a renovated semi-detached in Ebbw Vale, and a Georgian restoration near Llandeilo.
Episode 3 : North East

In the north east, the judges must choose between a renovated 19th-century villa in Prestatyn, a converted 1960s bungalow in Flintshire and a Grade II listed conversion in Wrexham.
Episode 2 : North West

In the north west, the judges choose between a 17th-century coastal cottage on the Llyn Peninsula, a semi-detached family home in Colwyn Bay and an Arts and Crafts cottage in Conwy.
Episode 1 : South East

The judges reach the south east, where they must choose between a colourful terraced property in Cardiff, an eclectic detached home in Newport and a converted family home in Porthcawl.

The search is on for Wales’s Home of the Year 2022. The judges are led by Wales’s favourite drumming weatherman Owain Wyn Evans. He joins interior designer Mandy Watkins from Anglesey, and Cardiff-based architect Glen Thomas to discover outstanding homes across Wales.
