Synopsis
Huset på Christianshavn was an 84-part television drama series broadcast in Denmark between 1970 and 1977. It was produced by the Nordisk Film company for the national broadcasting corporation, Denmarks Radio. 48 of the episodes were also shown in the German Democratic Republic. The series portrays the lives of the residents of a block of flats on Amagergade, Christianshavn, an old part of Copenhagen.

Beboerne i huset begynder at anskaffe sig malerier til at pryde væggene, ud fra den teori, at idag ukendte kunstnere om nogle år vil være steget ganske voldsomt i pris - hvilket især tiltaler Olsen.

Missionæren mangler penge til sine smuglervarer nede i Polen. Så han går rundt til folk for at få penge. Der bliver holdt møde ovre i Rottehulet. Men Larsen når at fortælle beboerne hvem Missionæren egentlig er.
Episode 4 : Varanens tarv
April. 27,1974
Tippe (en kvindesagskvinde) ankommer til huset, og takket været hende får husets koner øjnene op for et og andet. Olsen må have læge, da han er ved at blive kvalt i sin øl, og fru Clausen forlader sin mand, medbringende Clausens elskede Varan. Jo, problemerne er så sandelig kommet til huset.
Episode 3 : Vi må komme hinanden ved

Eva er en af Olsen's flyttekunder, men hun har ingen steder at bo. Han prøver at få hende ind hos nogle af de andre beboere, men det går ikke. Bo's kæreste Ulla vil ikke have hende boende. Eva overnatter i Olsen's flyttevogn. Samme dag forlader Ulla Bo, så nu kan Eva flytte ind hos Bo indtil hun finder et sted at bo.

Karla er en aften alene hjemme og bliver opskræmt, da hun overrasker en brevsprækkekigger. De øvrige kvinder i huset bliver bange, hvorefter mændene oprettet et slags vagtværn.
