Synopsis
Suspense is an American television anthology series that ran on CBS Television from 1949 to 1954. It was adapted from the radio program of the same name which ran from 1942 to 1962. Like many early television programs, the show was broadcast live from New York City. It was sponsored by the Auto-Lite corporation, and each episode was introduced by host Rex Marshall, who promoted Auto-Lite spark plugs, car batteries, headlights, and other car parts. Some of the early scripts were adapted from Suspense radio scripts, while others were original for television. Like the radio program, many scripts were adaptations of literary classics by well-known authors. Classic authors such as Edgar Allan Poe, Agatha Christie, and Charles Dickens all had stories adapted for the series, while contemporary authors such as Roald Dahl and Gore Vidal also contributed. Many notable actors appeared on the program, including Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, Franchot Tone, Robert Emhardt, Leslie Nielsen, Lloyd Bridges, and many more. The program was a live television series, but most episodes were recorded on kinescope. However, only about 90 of the 260 episodes survive today.

Kelly Davis, the unscrupulous creator of "Sally Forth" comic books, announces she's retiring the character. This move puts her resentful staff of cartoonists out of work. She offers Webb the chance to write the stories for her "new idea"--an idea she's stealing from him. Kelly is found dead the next morning, and Webb is the obvious suspect.

Dr. Ted Larson's engagement to head nurse Randi Sloan is getting under the skin of Dr. David Bonnell, her ex-lover and current roommate of Ted. When a box of candy arrives one morning, supposedly from Randi, David and a neighbor kid try a piece and both become extremely sick from arsenic poisoning. Accusations of attempted murder fly between the members of the love triangle as each accuses the other of poisoning the candy.

Knowing he'll be the prime suspect when Leo doesn't check in with his parole officer, Georgie goes in search of an airtight alibi. Desperate, he turns to the wife he'd walked out on earlier. Despite her cooperation, Georgie is undone by a delivery boy bringing a giant sucker from Leo.

WWE Superstars
WWE Superstars is a professional wrestling television program produced by WWE that originally aired on WGN America in the United States. It debuted on April 16, 2009 and ended its domestic broadcasting on April 7, 2011. After the final domestic TV broadcast the show moved to an internet broadcast format while maintaining a traditional television broadcast in international markets. The show features mid-to-low card WWE superstars and divas, in a format similar to the former show WWE Heat which served the same purpose. Big names such as John Cena and Randy Orton previously appeared on the show at its beginning. The show also previously featured talent from the now-defunct ECW brand.
