Synopsis
Quincy, M.E. is an American television series from Universal Studios pert in several of the later episodes.
Episode 18 : Vigil of Fear
May. 06,1981
A group of concerned citizens patrol their neighborhood to help keep crime off the streets. After chasing an armed criminal into a warehouse a gun battle takes place and they shoot the man. When examining the body Quincy proves he hadn't fired a gun and was so drunk he couldn't even have stood up at the time. He was not, and could not have been the thief they chased into the building. The vigilantes now look as if they are going to be charged with murder, will Quincy be able to help them?
Episode 17 : Sugar and Spice

Quincy does battle, on a live TV show, with the author of a diet book when he discovers that a model that used it has died. His outspoken statements against the book lead to him, and the department, being sued by the author.
Episode 16 : To Kill in Plain Sight
March. 18,1981
An explosion kills a man who is discovered to be the advance scout for a hitman. Quincy is in a race against time to find the assassin and thwart the plot to kill a government official at a hotel convention.
Episode 15 : Of All Sad Words
March. 11,1981
A club near Danny's burns down killing the owner, Lou Chesler. His wife, Elizabeth, is suspected of causing her husband's death, especially by an insurance investigator for the company that held her husbands' life assurance policy. He thinks she has also killed previous men in her life and warns the latest one that he could be next. The latest one is, of course, Quincy.
Episode 14 : Seldom Silent, Never Heard

A young boy, Jeffrey, dies when he falls from a building, after being chased in there. After the autopsy a doctor turns up wanting to have the brain. Jeffrey had Tourette's Syndrome and the doctor wants to try and find out what causes it and how to cure it. This is the only way he can research it as the drug companies don't think they could make enough money to make it worth their while.
Episode 13 : Who Speaks for the Children?
February. 25,1981
Polly Carmody, a young 9 year old girl, is murdered and found in a refuse bin. The police quickly pick up a suspect but Lt. Alex Markasian thinks that he doesn't fit the profile of a child murderer. He is much more interested in the fact that the 'father' of Polly is in fact her stepfather, and has only been in the house for a couple of months. When the arrested suspects blood type doesn't match the blood found on the victioms clothing Donald Thompson, the stepfather, becomes an even more likely suspect. This is made even more likely when Alex and Quincy discover some disturbing things in Thompsons' background.
Episode 12 : Jury Duty

When Quincy sits on a jury for a homicide case he realizes that there are errors in the evidence, which could lead to the conviction of an innocent man. Not being one to sit by without doing anything he is soon causing uproar in the court with his constant questioning and interrupting.

Quincy investigates a plane crash at sea and discovers that most of the victims died needlessly.

A narcotics officer comes under investigation by the IAD when drugs kill an airline stewardess he knew, and sometimes used for information.

The smuggling of Nazi-held gems from Cairo to Los Angeles in an Egyptian mummy leaves several corpses in its wake.
Episode 8 : Stain of Guilt
January. 14,1981
Quincy is hired as a technical director for a movie that is recreating a famous homicide case. Watching the murder scene being filmed convinces him that the real murderer is still loose and that the woman in jail for the crime was innocent. He sets out to find the truth but is hampered by the reluctance of the woman convicted to get involved. She only has a few months now until her parole hearing and if she is still trying to prove her innocence she has no chance of getting out if Quincy fails to find the real killer.
Episode 7 : By Their Faith
January. 07,1981
Asten sends Quincy and Sam, at the request of Archbishop Vallejo, to San Remos, Mexico. They are sent to a small village where a young woman is seemingly curing people of their illnesses. She says that she gained her powers from some bones she found in a cave. Quincy and Sam have to join a group of eminent scientists trying to determine how old the bones are and whether they could possibly belong to a legendary missionary from the time of the Incas.
Episode 6 : Welcome to Paradise Palms
December. 17,1980
Quincy rushes to an Arizona Native American reservation when he hears that his foster son, Chester, is suffering from bubonic plague. When he confirms this and tries to warn the local authorities he finds that they have no interest in the potential disaster. They are much more concerned with the forthcoming opening of a new country club that will bring tourists to the area. They have a big golf competition planned with many big names arriving and they don't want to cause a panic that would ruin the resort before it has even opened.
Episode 5 : The Hope of Elkwood

When a potential Olympic champion is cut down in his prime his coach is accused of negligent homicide. A young lawyer, the only man who is willing to defend him, must rely on Quincy to find evidence to clear his clients' name.
Episode 4 : The Night Killer
November. 26,1980
Mr. & Mrs. Estes have baby twins and with Bill Estes working all day Madeline is finding it harder and harder to look after the two boys. One night one of the twins dies suddenly in its sleep. All the medical and police personnel involved thinks that the baby died from SID (Sudden Infant Death) Syndrome, but a new, young and ambitious ME, Dr. Gauge, thinks that it was battered and calls in Lt. Monahan.
Bill, remembering how his wife was getting angry with the workload of looking after both babies begins to think that she could have killed their son.

Quincy becomes concerned when a medical student accuses a veteran staff doctor of covering up the causes of a homicide while doing an autopsy.
Episode 2 : A Matter of Principle

Sam tries to persuade the authorities to take notice of a new process he has developed to help track down killers. His tooth print process shows that the man the police have as their suspect in a rape case is not the man who did it. The bite mark has to have come from another person. His process being unknown though means that it is not accepted or believed.
Episode 1 : Last Rights
September. 16,1980
A father finds his son dead, having taken a drug overdose. Knowing this will affect his wife he decides to report it as an accidental drowning. Quincy's friend Volmer is the local coroner and politics lead to him not being able to autopsy the boy. He asks Quincy to help him out.
If that was not enough he also has to deal with a textile mill boss who refuses to fix irregularities at work and when an accident happens wants to hide the truth.

Justice
Justice is an American legal drama produced by Jerry Bruckheimer that aired on Fox in the USA and CTV in Canada. The series also aired on Warner Channel in Latin America, Nine Network in Australia, and on TV2 In New Zealand.
It first was broadcast on Wednesdays at 9:00 but, due to low ratings, it was rescheduled to Mondays at 9:00, in the hope viewers of the hit series Prison Break would stay tuned. On November 13, 2006, the show was put on hiatus, but two days later the network announced it was shifting it to Fridays at 8:00 to replace the canceled Vanished.
Fourteen episodes of the series were ordered, of which 13 episodes were produced. Twelve of the episodes of Justice have aired in the United States with the final episode airing in Mexico, the UK and Germany.

Each episode of this series, set in contemporary Los Angeles, examines one crime from many different viewpoints - uniformed cops, detectives, witnesses, the media, the fire department and rescue squad, even the criminals themselves.
L.A. Law
L.A. Law is an American television legal drama series that ran for eight seasons on NBC from September 15, 1986, to May 19, 1994.
Created by Steven Bochco and Terry Louise Fisher, it contained many of Bochco's trademark features including a large number of parallel storylines, social drama and off-the-wall humor. It reflected the social and cultural ideologies of the 1980s and early 1990s, and many of the cases featured on the show dealt with hot-topic issues such as abortion, racism, gay rights, homophobia, sexual harassment, AIDS, and domestic violence. The series often also reflected social tensions between the wealthy senior lawyer protagonists and their less well-paid junior staff.
The show was popular with audiences and critics, and won 15 Emmy Awards throughout its run, four of which were for Outstanding Drama Series.
Wycliffe
Wycliffe is a British television series, based on W. J. Burley's novels about Detective Superintendent Charles Wycliffe. It was produced by HTV and broadcast on the ITV Network, following a pilot episode on 7 August 1993, between 24 July 1994 and 5 July 1998. The series was filmed in Cornwall, with a production office in Truro. Music for the series was composed by Nigel Hess and was awarded the Royal Television Society award for the best television theme. Wycliffe is played by Jack Shepherd, assisted by DI Doug Kersey and DI Lucy Lane.
Each episode deals with a murder investigation. In the early series, the stories are adapted from Burley's books and are in classic whodunit style, often with quirky characters and plot elements. In later seasons, the tone becomes more naturalistic and there is more emphasis on internal politics within the police.
