Liverpool's hopes of securing a first league championship since 1990 will receive a major boost if they beat title rivals Chelsea at Anfield. The Reds have been the Premier League's most improved side this season, with Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge establishing themselves as arguably the most feared strike force in the top flight. Blues boss Jose Mourinho has repeatedly played down his chances of lifting the Premier League trophy this season, but victory at Anfield would be a potentially season-defining moment. The third side in the title equation, Manchester City, face an awkward away game against Crystal Palace, who have already beaten Chelsea on home turf this season.

The Uruguayan scored four goals in a 5-1 victory at Anfield - the third time in a row Liverpool have put five goals past Norwich. Arsenal and Hull meet in a preview of the FA Cup Final. Arsene Wenger's side are battling to finish in the vital fourth place spot with Everton, who are looking to complete the double over Manchester United on David Moyes' return to Goodison Park.

Highlights on a huge day of Premier League football as Liverpool entertain Manchester City and Chelsea travel to Swansea; two matches that could go a long way to deciding the 2013-14 champions. Liverpool have not beaten Manchester City in the league in five matches, not since a 3-0 win at Anfield in April 2011, a game that saw Andy Carroll score twice for the Reds, his first goals for the club following his £35m move from Newcastle. Both subsequent league matches at Anfield have been drawn and with the league title in reach for both sides it promises to be another closely fought yet engrossing encounter. In the other match, fellow titles contenders Chelsea travelled to the Liberty Stadium to take on Swansea. The Swans have only ever beaten Chelsea three times in the league, and only once at home, that win was a 2-1 success back in 1927.

Liverpool have been scoring for fun this season, and hope to add to their impressive tally at home to Tottenham, against whom they scored five without reply at White Hart Lane earlier this season. Elsewhere, Everton travel to Fulham, who they defeated 4-1 in December. But the Cottagers, who have changed managers again since then, did beat Roberto Martinez's side in the League Cup back in September. They are hoping to recreate that winning feeling and earn three points, which could be vital in their battle for Premier League survival.

Mark Chapman introduces highlights from the Premier League, as Tottenham Hotspur take on Southampton and Aston Villa entertain Stoke. Both Tottenham and Southampton are enjoying encouraging Premier League seasons, helped in large by their contingent of young home-grown players. Southampton took the lead at St Mary's earlier this season through England hopeful Adam Lallana, but Spurs roared back in Tim Sherwood's first game in caretaker charge to eventually win 3-2. Tottenham have won all three games since Saints returned to the Premier League and the south coast club have not won at White Hart Lane since September 2003. Aston Villa play host to Stoke City in the day's other game, looking to avenge their 2-1 defeat at the Britannia Stadium earlier this season when the Potters scored from each of their two shots on target. Peter Crouch scored the winner that day against his former club.

Mark Chapman presents highlights from Sunday's Premier League matches, as Manchester United face Liverpool and Tottenham and Arsenal clash in the north London derby. Liverpool travel to Old Trafford, chasing a double over their bitter rivals United for the first time since the 2008-09 season. Their 1-0 win at Anfield, in what was only the third match of the season, set the tone for a campaign in which Liverpool have impressed, while the Red Devils have struggled badly under David Moyes. At White Hart Lane, Tottenham host Arsenal in a fixture that has provided much entertainment, drama and goals over the last few years. The Gunners have enjoyed derby day superiority this season, having already beaten Spurs twice at the Emirates: 1-0 in the league and 2-0 in the FA Cup third round.

Cardiff head to London in search of their first win at White Hart Lane since 1954. The newly-promoted Bluebirds controversially changed their manager earlier this season, with owner Vincent Tan deciding Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had a better chance of keeping the club up than predecessor Malky Mackay. Tottenham also opted for a change at the top, with Tim Sherwood replacing Andre Villas-Boas in December. Meanwhile at Villa Park, Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert faces his former club Norwich City. The Scot guided his current side to a 1-0 win at Carrow Road when the sides met earlier this season. Another win would see Villa record a league double over the Canaries for the first time since the 1980-81 season, when they were crowned champions.

Recent encounters have been tight, and their sixth draw in 12 meetings earlier in the season was notable only for Tottenham's controversial decision to allow goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to play on after suffering a head injury and losing consciousness late in the game. Defending champions Manchester United have struggled at Old Trafford under new manager David Moyes this season, but the visit of Fulham has traditionally provided home comforts. United have won 17 of the last 18 league meetings in Manchester, and Fulham's wretched defensive record this season does not hint at an upset.

Mark Chapman introduces Premier League highlights, with Newcastle United in action against Manchester City and Stoke City playing Liverpool. Manchester City declared their intent to regain the title they won in 2011-12 by beating Newcastle 4-0 in their first match of the current campaign. However, Alan Pardew's men have recovered from that disastrous start to climb the table, thanks largely to the goal-scoring form of France striker Loic Remy. But City boast plenty of firepower themselves, with Sergio Aguero, Alvaro Negredo and Edin Dzeko all proven finishers. Liverpool's victory against Stoke in August was the first of three successive 1-0 wins for Brendan Rodgers' side. However, the Reds know from experience that the Potters are tough nuts to crack on home turf - Liverpool have lost their last three Premier League games at the Stadium of Light. However, given the indifferent start to the season made by David Moyes' side, Spurs will fancy their chances of pulling off a rare victory. Sunderland meet Newcastle in the Tyne-Wear derby at the Stadium of Light, with the Black Cats desperate for points after a wretched start to the season. Tottenham's form has been encouraging so far in this campaign, and the London side were aiming to rack up another three points against newly-promoted Hull City. The day's other fixture pits Swansea against West Ham at the Liberty Stadium.

The home side are looking to make amends for their 4-0 defeat to Spurs in the League Cup third round last month. Goals from Paulinho, Nacer Chadli and a brace from Jermain Defoe gave the visitors a comfortable win, although the hosts were controversially denied a clear-cut penalty early in the second half. Tottenham also won 4-0 on their last Premier League visit to Villa Park, with Gareth Bale scoring a hat-trick. The Welshman has since left White Hart Lane to join Real Madrid, but the Londoners have reinvested the proceeds from his sale, purchasing exciting talents such as Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela. David Moyes will be used to the intensity of such games, having overseen plenty of Merseyside derbies in his time as Everton manager. However, the Scot had a poor record in those clashes, and will be hoping for a change of fortunes now he is at Manchester United. His opposite number, Manuel Pellegrino, was sacked after just a season at Real Madrid - in part because his side finished behind arch-rivals Barcelona - so the Chilean also understands the importance of getting the better of big rivals. In the day's early kick-off, Arsenal host Stoke, hoping to extend their perfect home record in Premier League fixtures against the Potters, having won on all five previous occasions. Could new Stoke manager Mark Hughes inspire his side to end their losing streak?

The rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester United, England's two most successful clubs, ensures games between the two north west teams are always fiercely competitive. But today's fixture has an added edge following United's recruitment of manager David Moyes, who has arrived after 11 years in charge of Liverpool's cross-city rivals Everton. The Scot never won a game at Anfield while in charge of the Toffees, and will want to put that record right with his new club. Derby matches can sometimes be cagey affairs, but games between Arsenal and Tottenham invariably produce entertainment. The previous six meetings have yielded a total of 31 goals - including 5-2 wins for Arsenal in the previous two matches at the Emirates.

Soccer AM
Soccer AM is a British Saturday-morning football-based comedy/talk show, predominantly based around the Premier League. Originally presented by Jane Hoffen, Gary Stevens and Russ Williams, they lasted just a year before Helen Chamberlain and Tim Lovejoy replaced them, where Lovejoy served for over a decade. He has since been replaced by Andy Goldstein and, more recently, Max Rushden. The show has been aired on Sky Sports 2 each Saturday morning of the football season since 1995 from 7:00am or 9:00am to noon originally and currently between 10:00am and 12:00pm. In early 2009, the 500th episode was broadcast. Although the show is filmed live from 2010 it has been broadcast on a momentary delay due to bad language and/or inappropriate content from certain guests.
The show's current sponsor is Procter & Gamble through their Head & Shoulders brand. The show was previously sponsored by Frijj, a brand of milkshake, after Dairy Crest signed a £2 million sponsorship deal.
Parts of the show have remained since the beginning, whilst new items have been introduced each season. In that respect, it is almost the same every week, the difference being new football footage and comedy skits. Every week sees a new group of celebrity guests, generally featuring at least one footballer who is free on the Saturday, and a mix of musicians, TV personalities, and other sportsmen.

Pardon the Interruption
Pardon the Interruption is a sports television show that airs weekdays on various ESPN TV channels, TSN, ESPN America, XM, and Sirius satellite radio services, and as a downloadable podcast. It is hosted by Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon, who discuss, and frequently argue over, the top stories of the day in "sports... and other stuff". They had previously done this off-air in The Washington Post newsroom. Either Tony Reali or the uncredited "producer over the loudspeaker" serves as moderator for parts of the show, which is filmed in Washington, D.C.; Around The Horn also originates from the same studio.
Similar in format to Siskel and Ebert, PTI is known for its humorous and often loud tone, as well as the "rundown" graphic which lists the topics yet to be discussed on the right-hand side of the screen. The show's popularity has led to the creation of similar shows on ESPN, and similar segments on other series, and the rundown graphic has since been implemented on the morning editions of SportsCenter among many imitators. The show won a Sports Emmy Award for best Daily Outstanding Studio Show for 2009.

But things change when Jack reluctantly joins the dojo and meets his new crew, including tough guy slacker Jerry and confident martial arts expert Kim. The crew teaches a group of neighborhood goofballs about life, karate, and how to "kick it." Jack and the gang quickly realize their newfound friendship will take them places they've never imagined and, united, they can become unstoppable.
