Trailer Synopsis

It's a season of self-discovery for everyone, as Amy decides to spend time away from the farm, embarking on adventures with her boyfriend, Chris, and enjoying trips with friends. Matt and girlfriend Caryn consider whether their future is in Oregon with the farm, or in Arizona, where they've just purchased a home. New parents Zach and Tori are pushed to their limits as they juggle raising their one-year-old son Jackson, dealing with Zach's health scares, and trying to stay ahead of their mounting financial troubles—and to make it more hectic, they've just welcomed a new puppy into their lives! Against this tumultuous backdrop, Matt and Amy have come to a difficult crossroads and are faced with a major decision over what to do with the family farm. Old wounds surface between the couple as they struggle to come to an amicable conclusion that will be best for the whole family.

Molly's graduation approaches and she contemplates her future after college. But Matt and Amy are headed for the biggest change of all as their divorce will become final. Amy seeks to redefine herself in this new phase of her life and decides to not only make over her kitchen but also her appearance. Matt tries to recapture good times with Jeremy and Zach by taking them on a boys' camping trip, but feels his mortality when he is forced to confront long-standing health issues.

He has a distinct vision for his wedding day which sends Matt into a tailspin of activity to get the farm ready yet again. Throughout the flurry of activity in their lives the Roloffs always manage to tackle any obstacles that they encounter head on as a family.

Despite the marital struggles of his parents, the premiere episode features Jeremy planning his proposal to his long-time girlfriend Audrey—kicking off a season-long celebration as they prepare to get married. Amy fires up her passion for cooking with a pop-up restaurant, while Matt's imagination is sparked when Jeremy announces that he'd like to get married at home. But, in each of their own ways, Matt and Amy work to maintain a positive connection, sharing time together and planning a family getaway to have all of the Roloffs reconnect in the face of so many changes.

The Roloffs continue to make an impact off the farm as Matt returns to Iraq to try to help the family that was introduced last season as they come to America so their children can get the medical help they need. Amy's passions for sports lands her a new role as a Dwarf Athletic Association of America Board Member, where she takes on the planning of a major golf tournament fund-raiser.

The entire Roloff family will be involved in life-changing experiences in the fourth season. The season kicks off with Matt Roloff traveling to Iraq to help a family with three dwarf children in desperate need of medical attention. Matt returns from Iraq with big plans for the farm as the twins, Jeremy and Zach, prepare to graduate from high school. Daughter Molly is cramming for her drivers' license and youngest son Jacob hits the field as his focus on soccer grows. Mom Amy learns to let go—she realizes the kids are growing up and she needs to focus on herself, too. The house continues to undergo an extensive renovation, and the family heads to Florida for a much-needed vacation.
