Trailer Synopsis

Lighthearted look at the adventures of two Highway Patrol officers in Los Angeles. The main characters are Jon Baker and Frank Poncherello, two motorcycle officers always on the street to save lives.

Jon and Sindy are training a BMX team for kids. Ponch takes care for a young boy who vandalizes his school. He wants to see him on the BMX team. The sergeant's son has a bad accident, Joe feels guilty for that. It confuses him so much that he makes bad mistakes at work.

Central HQ has to be quarantined after a boy is brought in suffering from a mysterious disease. Two crazy criminals are bringing trouble, too. The other officers investigate the past of the boy and find a puzzle piece in his ""bomb"". We learn that Grossie is learning Russian.

Sindy has a new study project. She creates Bio Rythms for all officers. Robbie Davis (known from The Volunteers) is in trouble again. Someone attacks her trucks and the drivers lives. Jon and especially Ponch try to help.

A series of robberies at drive-in bank windows is frustrating the CHP - especially Jon and Ponch, who unsuccessfully chased the bandit's car three times. The thieves have joined a 150-car road rally that enables their vehicles to elude the police. Meanwhile, Ponch gets a surprise visit from his mom, who refuses to tell him the reason for her trip.

Cora is sad, in a few days she will lose her home to a building company. She has no idea where to go with her animals. So she decides to commit suicide and drives her car into a lake. Jon and Ponch and Sindy try to help her after hearing her story. Officer Derk only has one week before going on pension so he starts some crazy actions and Sgt. Getraer isn't very pleased about that. A private investigator tries two times to kidnap a little girl from her mother. Derk, Jon and Ponch can frustrate his plans. After a few days Jon and Ponch get the idea to bring Derk and Cora together. And their plan works. Cora and Derk become a couple. Derk allows her to bring all her animals with her.

One day Ponch's Firebird is stolen. Ponch is very sad but he also checks Kim out. Later his car is burned down from Kim, who belongs to a group of female car thieves.

Jon and Ponch sort out an accident caused by a misguided youth with a pellet gun. And an ambulance driver steals a van and fills it with dynamite after being fired from his job.

The series was canceled in October 2004. Although eight episodes were filmed, only seven actually aired.

Houston Knights is an American crime drama set in Houston, Texas. The show ran on CBS from 1987 to 1988 and had 31 episodes. The core of the show was the partnership between two very different cops from two different cultures. Chicago cop Joey LaFiamma, played by Michael Paré, is transferred to Houston after he kills a mobster from a powerful Mafia family and a contract is put out on him. Once there, he is partnered with Levon Lundy, played by Michael Beck, the grandson of a Texas Ranger. Although as different as night and day, and after a rocky beginning they form a successful partnership and become friends. This is aided to a certain extent by an event where a hitman from Chicago who holds the contract to shoot La Fiamma arrives in Houston and is ultimately killed by Lundy. During the series, it is revealed that both La Fiamma and Lundy have their own personal demons; La Fiamma's Chicago police partner had been killed when he went ahead while La Fiamma had waited for backup to arrive. Lundy's wife had been killed by an explosion that was intended to kill him.
