Synopsis
Mother/daughter duo Karen Laine and Mina Starsiak transform dilapidated properties in and around their hometown of Indianapolis. Karen's legal background and Mina's real estate knowledge help them secure diamonds in the rough, then they enlist demo and construction help to get the houses rehabilitated on budget and transformed into stunning homes.
Episode 13 : Historical Hot Mess

Mina and Karen splurge on a corner lot home in the historical neighborhood of Fletcher Place. While struggling to work within the guidelines of the Historical Preservation Commission, Mina and Karen face more problems than they could have ever anticipated. If they can persevere, the girls think they can make up for the costs by the time the house goes on the market -- will they have gone too far over budget to make it all worth it?
Episode 12 : Bugging Out on Budget

Mina and Karen reach outside of their comfort zone with a house on the edge of the Bates Hendricks neighborhood. They're concerned about the location, and when they discover that the house is festering with cockroaches, they fear that they may not come out with a profit in the end. But with smart planning, a little love and a lot of hard work, Mina and Karen are hopeful they can bring new life to the neighborhood with a charming renovation.
Episode 11 : Small House, Big Problems

Mina and Karen find that "you get what you pay for" when they buy a bargain house for $5,000. At 730 square feet, it's their smallest home ever, but it's full of big challenges, including holes in the roof, holes in the floor and a rotting foundation supported by nothing more than a dirt pile and a car jack. Mina and Karen's goal is to create value but stay on budget while bringing this dilapidated little home back to a livable condition.
Episode 10 : Beautifying a Boring Boxy Home

Mina has second thoughts that a charmless, boxy house bought from the city for $4,000 might have been a bad idea. But Karen sees the potential and convinces Mina that they'll be able to transform this 'giant cube' into an adorable single family home. Even though it's undesirable at first glance, Mina and Karen strip it down and turn this boring, rectangular house into a beautiful work of art, truly adding value to the neighborhood.
Episode 9 : Eyesore Overhaul

Mina and Karen are back in the Bates-Hendricks neighborhood with a brand new project. The home is in a fantastic location, is close to everything and has a ton of square footage. Despite its good qualities, however, the home is dirty, ugly and is going to be a heaping handful of a job. This eyesore has three colors of brown paint coating the outside and is a confusing labyrinth on the inside. A house this size will ultimately require more construction workers, more hammers and ultimately more danger. Will they be able to give this home a new floor plan that's perfect for single-family living?
Episode 8 : Client Renovation Rescue

Mina and Karen take on a renovation project for an optimistic client who bought a duplex with intentions of renovating it himself. The home is in a historic and very established neighborhood that would mean easy profit if the job is done right, but challenges with the historical preservation commission and a possible voodoo curse threaten to slow things down. Will the ladies be able to overcome such strange obstacles?

Episode 3 : An Office Becomes a Home

Mina and Karen purchase a tricky home in a transitional Indianapolis neighborhood. The location is a sizable former office space with no discernable bedrooms so the girls are excited to utilize the blank canvas. The girls quickly fall in love with the project and start bringing out the space's charm with outdoor corbels, a beautiful fireplace, an antique structural column and real wooden floors. While their finished product is beautiful, they may soon realize they've too far in that neighborhood -- and maybe too far over their budget.
Episode 2 : Abandoned Rebuild Rescued

Karen and Mina are back on Woodlawn Avenue to rescue a new build that has been abandoned. While the home's basic structure is built, the bones have been left for dead. Mina and Karen see the amazing possibilities in this 2,200 square foot home and already have the perfect buyer in mind. Issues arise, however, when window delivery is delayed and the trim carpenters quit mid-job. Will the girls be able to pull off a successful renovation for this up-and-coming neighborhood?
Episode 1 : Decaying Duplex Gets a Transformation

Mina and Karen snag a four-bedroom, two-bathroom duplex for only $4,000. But with one of the worst foundations they've ever seen combined with unsafe floor joists on the second floor, Mina expects to spend upwards of $200,000 on the renovation. When Tad demos the chimney and puts a hole in the roof, the women grow more concerned about their budget. They hope that their attention to detail in the beautifully finished single-family home will pay off.

This season, viewers will see a cabin redesign for a family and their blind dog; a complete backyard renovation featuring a pet-safe fire-pit; a man-cave that can accommodate 20 pets; and a room design complete with a soaring sculptural cat climbing wall, among other design transformations.
