No Way Out (2009) was a PPV presented by AT&T. It took place on February 15, 2009 at the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington. It was the 11th event under the No Way Out name and featured talent from the Raw, SmackDown and ECW brands. The main event on the Raw brand was an Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Championship between John Cena(c), Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, Edge, Mike Knox, and Kane. The predominant match on the SmackDown brand was an Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship featuring Edge(c), The Undertaker, Triple H, The Big SHow, Jeff Hardy, and Vladimir Kozlov. The primary match on the ECW brand was for the ECW Championship between Jack Swagger and Finlay. The undercard also featured two more matches from the Raw brand. The first was a No Holds Barred match between Randy Orton and Shane McMahon and the other saw Shawn Michaels versus John "Bradshaw" Layfield.

It was the sixth event produced under the No Way Out name and starred wrestlers from the SmackDown! brand. During the main event, Eddie Guerrero challenged WWE Champion Brock Lesnar for the title. Two bouts were featured on the undercard; the first was a Triple Threat match, where the winner would earn the right to challenge for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania XX; in the match featuring Kurt Angle, The Big Show and John Cena. The second bout was a singles match, in which Chavo Guerrero fought Rey Mysterio.

WrestleMania X-Seven was the seventeenth annual WrestleMania PPV and was presented by Snickers Cruncher. It took place on April 1, 2001 at the Reliant Astrodome in Houston, Texas. The event was the first WrestleMania held in the state of Texas. A record-breaking attendance for the Reliant Astrodome of 67,925 grossed US$3.5 million. The main event was a No Disqualification match between Steve Austin and The Rock for the WWF Championship. The main matches on the undercard featured Triple H versus The Undertaker, the second Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the WWF Tag Team Championship, and Vince McMahon versus Shane McMahon in a Street Fight. With WWE's acquisition of long-time competitor WCW and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin joining forces with storied rival Mr. McMahon.

WWE Vengeance 2006
Vengeance (2006) was a PPV which took place on June 25, 2006 at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was the sixth annual Vengeance event. The event starred wrestlers from the Raw brand. The card featured two main events which resulted in Rob Van Dam defending the WWE Championship against Edge and D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) fighting the Spirit Squad (Kenny, Johnny, Mitch, Nicky, and Mikey) in a 5-on-2 Handicap match. One bout was featured on the undercard. In which John Cena competed against Sabu in an Extreme lumberjack match, which featured superstars from the Raw and ECW brands at ringside.

Unforgiven 2001 was the fourth Unforgiven PPV. It was presented by Clearasil and took place on September 23, 2001 at the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The main event was a match for the WWF Championship with Alliance representative Stone Cold Steve Austin defending the title against WWF representative Kurt Angle. Two predominant matches were The Rock versus Booker T and Shane McMahon in a Handicap match for the WCW Championship, and Rob Van Dam versus Chris Jericho for the WWF Hardcore Championship. Unforgiven (2000) was the third Unforgiven PPV. The event was presented by RC Cola Edge and took place on September 24, 2000 at the First Union Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The main event was a Fatal Four-Way match for the WWF Championship. The Rock defended the title against Chris Benoit, The Undertaker and Kane. Backlash (2006) was a PPV which took place on April 30, 2006 at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. It was presented by Topps. It was the eighth event under the Backlash name and featured wrestlers and other talent that performed on the Raw brand. The first main event was a Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship, which saw John Cena defend against challengers Triple H and Edge. The second main event was Shawn Michaels and "God" versus Vince and Shane McMahon in a No Holds Barred match. The third main event was a "Title versus Briefcase match" between Rob Van Dam (the Money in the Bank holder) and Shelton Benjamin (the Intercontinental Champion).

It was presented by Vyotech Nutritionals and took place on May 21, 2006 at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona and featured talent from the SmackDown! brand. The main event was Rey Mysterio versus John "Bradshaw" Layfield for the World Heavyweight Championship. One of the predominant matches on the card was Booker T versus Bobby Lashley in the finals of the 2006 King of the Ring tournament. Another primary match on the undercard was Kurt Angle versus Mark Henry.
