Oh Yeah! Cartoons was an American animation showcase that appeared on the Nickelodeon cable channel. Oh Yeah! was an animation project guided by Fred Seibert, former Creative Director of MTV Networks and President of Hanna-Barbera. Produced by Frederator Studios, it ran as part of Nickelodeon's Nicktoons lineup, and in its second season, was hosted by Kenan Thompson of All That and Kenan & Kel fame; Then later by Josh Server, from All That, for its third season. Bill Burnett composed the show's theme music. Oh Yeah! Cartoons was distributed by Nelvana outside of the United States. In terms of sheer volume, Oh Yeah! Cartoons remains TV's biggest animation development program ever. Giving several dozen filmmakers the opportunity to create nearly 100 seven-minute cartoons, the series eventually yielded three dedicated half-hour spin-offs: ⁕The Fairly OddParents ⁕ChalkZone ⁕My Life as a Teenage Robot Nickelodeon's Oh Yeah! half-hour featured in its first season, a total of 39 brand new seven-minute cartoons in 13 episodes, surpassing the number of new cartoons and characters on any other single network. In its full run, Oh Yeah! Cartoons featured and produced over 99 cartoons and 54 characters.

Blackstone is a Canadian television series, which airs on APTN and Showcase. Written, created, directed and produced by Canadian producer Ron E. Scott, the series began filming its eight episodes, plus a pilot, in 2010 in and around Edmonton, Alberta. The second season has concluded and a third season of the series is in development. Blackstone follows the lives of Indians on the Blackstone Indian reserve. The story is told from an Aboriginal point of view and according to Scott, “Blackstone is relevant and relational in an Aboriginal story world, with universal themes and conflicts that are not only relatable to some First Nations out there today, but also to the world of politics and power in general. Nathaniel Arcand, Justin Rain and Carmen Moore are three cast members from Blackstone who also starred in the 2010 film Two Indians Talking. Other cast members include Eric Schweig, Andrea Menard, Michelle Thrush, Roseanne Supernault, Steven Cree Molison, Ashely Callingbull, Michael Holden and Gordon Tootoosis.

The 2 couples that spawned the most controversy in media were the tumultious relationship beween rapper DMX and Tashera Simmons plus actor Doug Hutchinson (The Green Mile) and wife and fame-seeker Courtney Stodden (they stood out alot due to Courtney being 17 turning 18 when the show was filmed while Doug was 52). Some a-list celebs appeared (Too Short, Treach from Naughty By Nature, Jenna Jameson, Scott Stapp from Creed, JoJo from K-Ci and JoJo and Ghostface Killah for instance).
