The World's Greatest Super Friends is an American animated television series about a team of superheroes which ran from September 22, 1979 to September 27, 1980 on ABC. It was produced by Hanna-Barbera and is based on the Justice League and associated comic book characters published by DC Comics.

Episode 1 - Rub Three Times For Disaster
September. 22,1979

Thieves on an Arabian-like planet have stolen a magic lamp and accidentally drop it on Earth. The Wonder Twins find it and they end up getting captured as well as the Hall of Justice being demolished. The other Superfriends successfuly stop the thieves and the controlled genie from ruling the planet and save the Wonder Twins.

Episode 2 - Lex Luthor Strikes Back
September. 29,1979

In an attempt to take over the world, Lex Luthor calls on the help of strange solar creatures from the sun. Lex successfully imprisons all the Superfriends (except the Wonder Twins, who are vacationing on their home planet Exxor), as the solar cretaures turn the sun from yellow to red. The yellow rays of the sun gives Superman his powers, so the red sun makes him no stronger than the average human. However, the solar creaturs have their own agenda and beging to torch the entire planet, and leave Lex to die. In an act of desperation, Lex releases the Superfriends so they can get rid of the solar creatures and return them to the sun. Lex is then captured by the Superfriends.

Episode 3 - Space Knights Of Camelon
October. 06,1979

After Superman stops a radioactive meteorite from crashing into a prehistoric planet, the blast sends Superman to the medievil planet of Camelon with no memory due to the radioactive particles in the meteor. A group of invaders led by Logan find Superman and cause him to think that he's the Black Knight and plan to use him to overthrow Arthur 7 (the planet's version of King Arthur) and take over Camelon. The other Superfriends arrive to help Arthur 7, only to be captured. After escape, it's a joust with Batman that returns Superman's memory, and all's well that ends well on Camelon.

Episode 4 - The Lord Of Middle Earth
October. 13,1979

The Wonder Twins and Gleek see trolls running out of a cave during a camping trip. They go to where the trolls are coming from and wind up in Middle Earth, where Zan and Jayna are captured and turned into trolls by the evil wizard Malhavoc, who has enslaved other trolls. Although Gleek summons the other Superfriends to rescue the Wonder Twins and free the trolls, Malhavoc stops them and turns them into trolls (except Gleek). Wonder Woman and Batman escape with the troll's leader and get to a ring that can help defeat Malhavoc. They are successful, the Superfriends ane un-trolled, and the rest of the trolls are free. Suddenly, Gleek wakes up, discovering it's all a dream. Or so he thinks, as he sees another small shadow in the forest...

Episode 5 - Universe Of Evil
October. 20,1979

Arguably the best Superfriends episode of the franchise, ""Universe of Evil"" finds Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman heading to a dam that's about to crack open. But when cables are fired into the dam from the Batjet and Invisible Jet, they're pulled to help the dam break wide open, creating title waves into near-by villages. We then learn that these are evil Superfriends, or Super Enemies, in a parallel universe. Soon after, both the evil Superman and our good Superman fly to Mount Vesuvious in their respected universes. The sinister villain attempts to cause the volcano to erupt, while our hero tries to prevent the eruption. The evil Superman succeeds, but the eruption sends each Superman into the opposite universe.While the good Superman is hampered and captured by the Super Enemies and locked away at the Hall of Evil, the evil Superman soon realizes what has happened and attempts to take over the good universe. Episode 6 - Terror At 20,000 Fathoms
October. 27,1979

Captain Nimoy demands the ransom of the world's Kryptonite or else the continents will be sunk to the ocean. With Superman and Wonder Woman on Saturn, the rest of the Superfriends recruit the Kandorians from the Fortress of Solitude to stop Nimoy and his band of thugs, which includes Andriod Batman.

Episode 7 - The Superfriends Meet Frankenstein
November. 03,1979

Superman, Batman, Robin, and Wonder Woman fight against Dr. Frankenstein and his creatures. The final product of his experiments results in a evil and terrifying monster made up of the powers belonging to Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. Drained of their strength and powers, these Superfriends are no match for the monster. So they combine all their remaining strength and channel it into Robin, who becomes a strong and flying Super Robin. Knowing both he and the monster have the same strengths and weaknesses, Robin shields himself and uses Kryptonite to bring him down. All strength and powers are then returned to the Superfriends, and Dr. Frankenstein is apprehended.

Episode 8 - Planet Of Oz
November. 10,1979

Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and Superman are swept away by a tornado and magically transported to a Wizard of Oz planet, courtesy of Mxyzptlk. Superman is changed into the Tinman, Wonder Woman into the Cowardly Lion, and Aquaman into the Scarecrow. After battles with crazy foes in the strange land, it's the quick-thinking Superman that sends Mxyzptlk back to the fifth dimension, and the Superfriends back home.

Josie and the Pussycats is an American animated television series, based upon the Archie Comics comic book series of the same name created by Dan DeCarlo. Produced for Saturday morning television by Hanna-Barbera Productions, sixteen episodes of Josie and the Pussycats aired on CBS during the 1970-71 television season, and were rerun during the 1971-72 season. In 1972, the show was re-conceptualized as Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space, sixteen episodes of which aired on CBS during the 1972-73 season and were rerun the following season. Reruns of the original series alternated between CBS, ABC, and NBC from 1974 through 1976. This brought its national Saturday morning TV run on three networks to six years.
