Trailer Synopsis

The Strip is an Australian television drama series that screened on the Nine Network. The series premiered on the Nine Network at 8:30pm on 4 September 2008 but was moved to a later 10:30pm timeslot from 13 November 2008. The show did not return for a second season, due to disappointing ratings. The Strip was released on DVD on 4 July 2009.

But there's one antiageing, illegal performance enhancing wonder drug they're all dying to get their hands on… When their first suspect turns up dead and Charlie Palmer, Tully's ex-partner-turned-private-eye arrives, Cross is unimpressed. He doesn't like Charlie much. But Tully does. A lot. She always did. And when their friendship turns into something more is Cross just a bit jealous? Or is there something more sinister going on? Something Charlie's not telling Tully?

Tully and Cross investigate the victim's profile and discover that Katz was a ruthless man, his hands dirty with many crimes. Is rebirthing conflict diamonds one of them? And what or who is the local connection? Charismatic nightclub owner, Ivan Lazar is also from Russia. He says he has no connection with Katz. But is that the truth? The case becomes personal for Tully and Cross when one of their witnesses is killed and their quest for justice is obstructed. Tully and Cross suspect Lazar is behind it, but can they prove it?

Meanwhile, Amy has information that can bring the Lazar empire tumbling down.

A disturbing phone call sees Cross and Tully race to Amy's apartment, only to find her missing and an intruder turning the place upside down. They know only one man could have taken her, Ivan Lazar.

The Winner is an American television series that premiered on Fox on March 4, 2007. It is a comedy about a successful man named Glen Abbott looking back to the time when he was in his thirties and living with his parents in 1994 Buffalo, New York. Other cast members include Erinn Hayes as Alison, Keir Gilchrist as Alison's son, Josh, Lenny Clarke as Glen's father, Ron, and Linda Hart as Glen's mother, Irene. The show is produced by Ricky Blitt and Seth MacFarlane, who are also producers of Family Guy. The working title of this series was Becoming Glen. A pilot was made for Fox in 2002 starring Johnny Galecki as Glen. It also starred Samantha Mathis, Gerald McRaney and Sally Struthers. The pilot was not picked up. However, the resurgence of Family Guy and the success of The 40-Year-Old Virgin in 2005 helped Blitt get a chance at making another pilot. At Family Guy Live in Montreal on July 21, 2007, Seth MacFarlane said "It is looking like there could be a future life for The Winner". However, the series was officially cancelled on May 16, 2007.
