The Best Years is a Canadian teen drama series set in Boston, Massachusetts. The series was created by producer and writer of Degrassi: The Next Generation, Aaron Martin. The first season was shown on Global in Canada and The N in the United States. The second season was shown in the U.S. on The N and in Canada on E!, CanWest's secondary network.

After heading to South America for eight months, Samantha Best returns to Charles University to find that things have changed. Trent, Dawn and Devon have all left C.U., but that doesn't mean that Sam won't make new friends. New students Delman, Robyn, Rich, Poppi and Jake all arrive and shake things up. Meanwhile, Noah must sort out his feelings for Kathryn after her return.

Noah films a documentary for his film class on a subject very dear to him- Robyn. Unfortunately, she doesn't seem to have enough time to give him a proper interview. This leads to Noah filming Kat and jealousy sparks. Meanwhile, Sam is failing out of her literature class and Dorothy steps in. Not knowing what exactly to do with her life, she parallels her life to her literature assignment.

Episode 3 - Dermabrasion

After receiving an assignment in class, Sam sets up a play about her thoughts and emotions to show to the students of C.U. Meanwhile, Del and Kat form an unlikely friendship when they begin picking apart their choice of friends. Robyn, exhausted from all of her medical school duties, decides to act out as well.

Headland is an Australian drama television series produced by the Seven Network which ran from 15 November 2005 to 21 January 2006. The Seven Network filmed 52 episodes in the first series. Production on the second series had begun before any episodes were aired. Set in a university, Headland premiered in Australia on Tuesday, 15 November 2005 at 7.30pm. On 23 January 2006, the Seven Network officially announced that the series has been cancelled. The show aired on weekdays at 7.30pm in the United Kingdom on E4, re-formatted as half-hour episodes. E4 eventually dropped the show but episodes continued to be broadcast on Channel 4 at 12:30pm, this time in the original hour-long format.

Modern Toss is a partly animated British comedy programme based on characters from Modern Toss, the creation of British comedy writers and cartoonists Jon Link and Mick Bunnage. Renowned for their scurrilous humour and highly stylised animation, it was created in 2004, initially as a website publishing single panel jokes and then as series of irregularly released comics. The initial pilot programme was commissioned by Channel 4 as part of their Comedy Lab series and Broadcast in May, 2005. Series one was first broadcast in July 2006.
