Alex hires business student Casey to work on his music Web site, and arranges a meeting with an old flame. In other events, Wiseman uses sexy sheets as bait to attract a woman at the coin laundry; and couch potato Todd ponders the dimensions of cartoon rooster Foghorn Leghorn while a disapproving Casey works. But when she's done, the two find an original way to enjoy Antiques Roadshow.
Alex's attempt to break up with his needy girlfriend is completely misunderstood and even further complicated when Todd and Wiseman convince him to use her realtor contacts to find an affordable New York apartment.
Casey breaks up with her boyfriend, and the guys all try to win her affections. Also: Wiseman learns that a frequent patient at his dental office is interested in more than good dental hygiene.
Alex breaks the unspoken code between men about dating your buddy's ex-girlfriend. Meanwhile, Wiseman asks Casey to pose as his girlfriend in order to gain the attention of a waitress at the coffee shop, but she becomes wary of the charade when the waitress suggest that the three ""hang out"" together.
Envious of the parties thrown by an upstairs neighbor, Alex, Todd and Wiseman decide to throw one of their own, but a dispute with their landlord gets them locked out of their apartment on the day of the shindig. Also: Wiseman is pressured into taking his aunt to a play.
