Episode 1 - Easter (1)
August. 09,2009

Episode 2 - Working From Home (2)
August. 09,2009

Sal runs a surgery from her house for elderly patients who don't want to go to the doctor. Jock, who is in charge of the building works, gets the idea, thanks to Rosie, that Sal is a prostitute because so many men are visiting her. He tells James, who fears it will ruin his chance of running for M.P. He is no happier when he learns that his mother is dispensing medicine, though Yasmeen takes it well. All is cleared up apart from the matter of the vicar, who came to Sal for sleeping pills, nodded off overnight and is discovered minus his trousers.

Episode 3 - Dinner Party (1)
August. 16,2009

When Caroline is planning a dinner party for husband John and his friends from London, her attempts to enlist Rosie to help lead her to mistakenly think she is being invited, resulting in an extremely awkward evening when travel troubles result in Sal, the Vicar and Suzie being the only other guests at the party. Meanwhile, Jock's attempt to apologise for an unfortunate remark gives Sal yet another problem.

Episode 4 - Missing Persons (2)
August. 16,2009

As the ladies of Clatterford stage a fashion show, Sal and Jock begin to enjoy each other's company more. Panic ensues for Eileen and Katie when Margaret turns up to cause trouble, and the Vicar goes awol.

Episode 5 - New Beginnings (1)
August. 23,2009

Spike and Tash are finally ready to travel the world in their converted mobile library, but a confusion with the gears leads to a call-out for the emergency services, and Sal's house ends up looking like a war zone. Jock agrees to mend the damage, and the thawing of his previously frosty relationship with Sal continues, much to the amusement of Tip and the disgust of Tash.

Episode 6 - Ladies in Lavender (2)
August. 23,2009

All bets are off, though, when it is finally revealed that the barn is not being converted for Charles Dance at all – Jock just let Rosie jump to that conclusion to get the Guild off his back. This would be bad enough if Jock hadn't promised the Guild an appearance by Mr Dance as their next (and indeed, first) celebrity speaker.

Drop the Dead Donkey
Drop the Dead Donkey
Drop the Dead Donkey is a situation comedy that first aired on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom between 1990 and 1998. It is set in the offices of “GlobeLink News”, a fictional TV news company. Recorded close to transmission, it made use of contemporary news events to give the programme a greater sense of realism. It was created by Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin. The series had an ensemble cast, making stars of Haydn Gwynne, Stephen Tompkinson and Neil Pearson. The series began with the acquisition of GlobeLink by media mogul Sir Roysten Merchant, an allusion to either Robert Maxwell or Rupert Murdoch. Indeed, Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin note on their DVDs that it was fortunate for their libel lawyers that the two men shared the same initials. The series is mostly based on the on-going battle between the staff of GlobeLink, led by editor George Dent, as they try to maintain the company as a serious news organisation, and Sir Roysten’s right-hand man Gus Hedges, trying to make the show more sensationalist and suppress stories that might harm Sir Roysten’s business empire. The show was awarded the Best Comedy Award at the 1994 BAFTA Awards. At the British Comedy Awards the show won Best New TV Comedy in 1990, Best Channel 4 Comedy in 1991, and Best Channel 4 Sitcom in 1994.
