Mulligan Stew
Mulligan Stew
Mulligan Stew was a children's educational program, sponsored by the 4-H Council and shown both in schools and on television. It was produced by Michigan State University and premiered in 1972 during National 4-H Week in Washington, D.C. The show was named for the hobo dish, and each of the six half-hour episodes gave school-age children information about nutrition. Produced by V. "Buddy" Renfro, Mulligan Stew featured a multi-racial group of five kids: Maggie, Mike, Micki, Manny, and Mulligan, plus one adult, Wilbur Dooright. The group went on nutritional adventures around the globe, although the series' filming usually stuck close to Lansing, Michigan School packages included a companion comic book with further adventures of the characters, reviews of things learned from the show, and lyrics to the show's songs. The show was noted for the key phrase "4-4-3-2" that was often invoked to refer to the USDA's then-recommended number of daily servings of the "Four Food Groups" — "fruits and vegetables," "breads and cereals," "milk or cheese," and "meat, fish or fowl." Thanks in part to the popularity of "Mulligan Stew", 4-H membership was boosted to an all-time high in 1974, and it remained on the air until 1981.

Biker Mice from Mars (2006)
Biker Mice from Mars is an animated series, a remake of the show with the same name which aired from 1993–1996. Unlike past remakes of old shows, this one continues the plot of the original series with new added characters. The 2006 version of the show has previews of the show on YouTube. Jim Ward won a 2009 voice-actor Daytime Emmy for his performance as Eyemore in the episode "Manchurian Charley" and as the Crusher in the episode "Here Come The Judge". The series was slated as a mid-season replacement in the 4Kids block on the CW network in fall 2009, but the series did not air. In the UK it was picked up for a second window by CSC Media Group, who scheduled it from April 2, 2010 on the Kix channel. The series features as a show on YouTube. An episode has been launched each Saturday on YouTube since November 2010.

Freaky Stories
Freaky Stories
Freaky Stories is a Canadian television series, which was originally broadcast by YTV in English and Canal Famille in French. It is an animated show about urban legends hosted by two animatronic puppets, Larry de Bug, a cockroach, and his gooey sidekick, Maurice the maggot in Ted's Diner - a 1940's era diner setting staffed by Rosie the waitress. The series, described as "a Twilight Zone for kids," centers around the kind of myths and legends that are told as scary campfire or bedtime stories. Every episode always starts with and finishes with the phrase: "This is a true story, and it happened to friend of a friend of mine." and by the words of Larry, "Just because they never happened, doesn't mean they ain't true." Animation styles and musical scoring varied within each half-hour episode, incorporating 20 different looks in the first season alone. The short stories and changing styles were specifically designed to keep viewers' attention span. Series creator Steve Schnier successfully pitched his concept of modern urban legends to YTV in 1991. In 1994, Steve teamed with executive producer John Delmage. The resulting Freaky Stories pilot premiered during YTV's "Dark Night 3" Halloween block on October 28, 1995, and the series itself premiered as a one-hour special as part of "Dark Night 5" on October 24, 1997. While most episodes were finished on digibeta, the pilot was shot on film using traditional animation techniques but completed on video. The subsequent series was digitally inked, painted and composited.

Pob's Programme
Pob's Programme
Pob's Programme is a children's television programme which was broadcast in the United Kingdom on Channel 4 between October 1985 and November 1987. The programme is presented by a puppet named Pob, who speaks a primitive version of English and who supposedly lives inside the viewer's TV. The opening titles of the show consist of the character breathing on the camera lens, and tracing his name in the condensation. Each week on the programme, a celebrity guest visits Pob's garden, and entertains him — though Pob and the guest never appear on screen together. Pob's Programme was created by Doug Wilcox and Anne Wood of Ragdoll Productions, which also created Rosie and Jim. Wood went on to create the Teletubbies.
