Abandoned Goods
Abandoned Goods is an essay film exploring the journey of one of Britain’s major collections of Asylum Art containing about 5,500 objects (paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculptures and works on stone, flint and bone) created between 1946 and 1981, by about 140 people compelled to live in the Netherne psychiatric hospital in South London. Blending archive, reconstruction, animation, 35mm rostrum, and observational photography, the film explores the transformation of these objects from clinical material to revered art objects examining the lives of the creators and the changing contexts in which the objects were produced and displayed.

CUAK, which roughly translates to 'cold feet', follows the story of Adam on the verge of getting married and having second thoughts as he goes through the events that lead up to this moment - how they first met, the in-laws and best friends and making tough decisions such as converting ones religion to get married. The film is uniquely told by 5 directors who each direct each of these events as segments of the film, combining together to make one full narrative in a variety of different styles - ranging from drama and comedy to noir and mockumentary - making CUAK a truly Malaysian movie with themes that resonate with a universal audience regardless of race or religion.
Aura
Four kids, Tokyo, Pete, Adam and Esther wake up in their stranded car in an abandoned field only to find that the Sun did not rise. What's more, they discover that a strange, 30 foot diameter, almost invisible, bionic "aura" is covering their surroundings. It reacts to their touch, and soon mysterious things start to happen. Our heroes find seashells in and around their car, the smell and the sound of the ocean fill the air, and long lost memories start to materialize in front of their very eyes. Upside Down Home

Dr. Helen Caldicott is the most prominent anti-nuclear activist in the world. She's been featured on CNN, 60 Minutes, CBC and Democracy Now. In the 80s, Helen Caldicott campaigned against nuclear weapons testing in the pacific (still responsible today for the majority of tritium we're exposed to), and against the notion of a winnable nuclear war. She was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts. She has always made inaccurate statements regarding civilian nuclear power. Umphrey's McGee - Live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre
Some nights defy explanation. Umphrey's 2014 return to Red Rocks could be summed up as such a night. Their first sold out show at the nation's premiere amphitheatre created a palpable pre-show energy that never relented. Those in attendance clearly knew they were in for a ride. The band stepped on the gas early and never let up. Set one started with the debut of a new original "Lucid State." "Conduit" got the early treatment and "Ocean Billy" lit up the rocks, complete with "Gents" sandwiched neatly in the middle. Jake Cinninger unveiled a treat as he performed "End of the Road" on Jerry Garcia's historic Travis Bean TB500 guitar. The band closed the set with Bob Seger's "Hollywood Nights" which turned into a crowd sing along, 9500 voices strong. Filmed in stunning HD, including aerial drone footage of the concert, paired with crisp soundboard audio make this one of the finest concert videos from UM to date.
