Five single people try to figure out dating in the age of social media, texting, hanging out and hooking up.
The Ride
The end of the Indian Wars in the US concluded with the horrific events at Wounded Knee in December, 1890. After Custer's defeat at Little Big Horn and Chief Sitting Bull's subsequent surrender and execution, the Lakota Sioux set out on a 300-mile walk southward through South Dakota. Along the way they were joined by Chief Big Foot's band of Minneconjou Lakota and pursued by the Calvary, ending up at Wounded Knee where 350 Lakota were massacred. In The Ride we are witness to the annual Chief Big Foot Memorial Ride, a tradition since 1986 where young Lakota retrace part of the route on a 300-mile horse ride in late December.
Sisters of the Wilderness
A documentary film and social impact project which aims to re-connect people with wild nature and empower women. The film will tell the story of a group of brave women from disadvantaged background who travel into the primordial African wilderness of iMfolozi in Northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, hoping to find healing and personal growth but face testing emotional and physical challenges.

Rurutu Vitaria
Discovery of the community of Vitaria, on the island of Rurutu in the Austral archipelago in Polynesia. In Vitaria we are Rurutu Protestants. This church draws on its autochthony to regain control over individuals and their native land. To stay in the symbolism, it should be noted that the geographical point furthest from Jerusalem is located in the Austral archipelago, south of the island of Rapa. The prism of local Christianity will be an opportunity to focus on the lives of the people of Vitaria, to get to know Patia Taputu, a charismatic character who is a farmer, breeder and fisherman. His wife Tiare is a recognized craftswoman. The couple raised their seven children on vanilla, coffee, egg production and making woven hats from white pandanus.
The Microsoft Dilemma
Microsoft is generally considered the dinosaur of the digital age. However, the US Corporation is more powerful today than ever before. The power of its monopoly is nowhere more apparent than in Europe: from Finland to Portugal, from Ireland to Greece, the information technology of every state administration and its institutions (military, police, fiscal authorities etc.) is based on Microsoft programmes. Since digital systems are constantly expanding and increasing in importance, countries are becoming more and more dependent on this single company. This dependence causes continually rising costs and prevents technical progress in state authorities. It systematically undermines European procurement and competition laws, it leads inevitably to the company having an overwhelming political influence, while it exposes state IT systems along with citizens’ data to a high technical and political security risk. Is Europe’s digital sovereignty at stake?
