The Train to Moscow
In the aftermath of Stalin’s death, three Italian communists engage in a trip to the Soviet Union to challenge their utopia with an 8mm camera. In 1957, Sauro, Luigi and Enzo all live in Alfonsine, a small town in Italy ruled like a miniature Soviet Union by the Italian Communist Party. As many communists in the West, they dream of the Soviet Union, and hope for the great Revolution. But with the wind of reform and self-criticism blowing through the Eastern Bloc after the death of Stalin the image of the Soviet Union as the workers’ paradise begins to crumble. They therefore decide to travel to the USSR to find out what is true and what is false in this supposed land of milk and honey. They film their entire journey with their 8mm camera. Through this invaluable personal archive, our film tells the hopes, disappointments and challenges of three young men faced with the reality of what seemed to be a utopia come true.

In March 2011, a young British pilot, David Simpson, was arrested for mass murder in Africa. CAR has endured decades of unrest, and armed rebel groups roam the country, but for David, working in one of the world's last remaining wildernesses was a dream come true. However, as he opened up the bush for big game hunters, relations between the safari company and the local population became increasingly hostile. Villagers used the new roads to access rivers deep in the bush and start illegal gold mines. After a number of escalating confrontations between David and the miners, 13 men were found massacred at a gold mine.

The wealthy hosting family rather than being helpful eventually causes unsolvable clash between Bahram and Fariba. This captivating film exposes the problems of illegal immigration; spouses' conflicting attitudes towards behaving in a foreign land as well as a tough dilemma whether to remain loyal to one's roots and beliefs or to earn a better life through dodgy actions.

Later in life, Tanmay and Aniket adopt a child together, naming him "Shlok". The boy grows to become a successful businessman, but his gay parents keep their distance from him to avoid burdening him with social stigma. Shlok meets a woman, Disha, whom he wishes to marry, but his parents' homosexuality becomes an impediment.
