Glastonbury Festival Presents Live at Worthy Farm
Filmed across the Festival’s Worthy Farm site at landmarks including the Pyramid Field and the Stone Circle, the event will see a range of artists giving their time to perform in support of the Festival, including Coldplay, Damon Albarn, HAIM, IDLES, Jorja Smith, Kano, Michael Kiwanuka, Wolf Alice, plus DJ Honey Dijon, who will all perform as part of an uninterrupted film production. There will also be a number of unannounced surprise performances.
Brenda Lee and the Palace of Princesses
A musical that brings a bit of the history of Brenda Lee, called the "guardian angel of transvestites", activist who founded the first support house for people with HIV/AIDS in Brazil. She has a pension for transvestites who, for the most part, live off prostitution. Despite the reality of violence in which they live, inside the house, the transvestites are welcomed by Brenda, who teaches them to want more out of life.
Kaija Saariaho: Innocence
The world premiere of composer Kaija Saariaho's opera, "Innocence", at the 2021 Aix-en-Provence Festival. Finland is the setting but the protagonists come from the four corners of Europe: a Finnish groom and his Romanian bride, a French mother-in-law and a Czech maid. Around them memories unravel in a contemporary tragedy of guilt and lost innocence.
