Sianviathan
In the late years of the Sui Dynasty, chaos reigned across the land. On the tenth day of the third month of the fourteenth year of Daye, a mutiny broke out in Jiangdu, Emperor Yang was killed, and the divine beast Kui Ox was left ownerless. Rebel forces from all directions and local powers mobilized to Jiangdu in search of the legendary divine sword that could subdue the Kui Ox. A scholar journeyed to Jiangdu for the imperial examination and, by twist of fate, arrived at the mysterious Caohang Ferry Inn. Within the small inn, there were aspiring scholars like him who possessed ambitions but were scattered across the world, as well as a delicate and enigmatic mute woman, and seemingly unreliable free-spirited martial artists.

The film focuses on the tragic stories of W. C. Spackman, an English military doctor working in the Indian Army, and Colonel Suphi Bey, a Turkish officer, whose destinies intersect in Mesopotamia.

The Story of a Slough
When the Tanana River bridge was installed in Salcha, Alaska, the community worried about the levee's effects on fish wildlife. Salcha Elementary School, along with the help of Tanana Valley Watershed Association, conducted a 10-year scientific project with students to study the effects the levee had on Piledriver Slough. Tori Brannan - the filmmaker's mother - is a retired principal at Salcha Elementary and was the project's centerpiece. She shares her experiences with the project, the community, and how her daughter's involvement strengthened their relationship.

In August 2014, a three-year-old girl disappeared, but she was not immediately missed: people assumed she had left with her dad, who lived in a neighboring village. Only on the third day was it revealed that her dad had not picked her up. The village searched for her for 12 days and found her alive, thanks to a faithful friend — a puppy. In honor of Karina and her dog Naida, a monument was erected at the Yakutsk airport, and a book published called "Karina. 12 Days in the Taiga." This story dramatically changed the life of a little girl from a tiny village and her family. Today she is already 12 years old and studying at a ballet school.
