Napoleon, back from the island of Elba, had regained power and reconstituted the Grande Armée, which was on the march towards Belgium, where the battle of Waterloo was to take place. Colonel Neuville was summoned by Marshal Ney. Ney entrusted him with a special mission: to go and meet Colonel Reynauld, a renowned royalist who refused to hand over command of his men to the Empire. It was imperative that his men join the Grande Armée. However, beyond their political differences, Neuville and Reynauld are brothers and a strong antagonism separates them. Their duel will be all the more intense for it.

In 1415 a small English Army consisting mainly of Yeoman English and Welsh archers defeated and destroyed a much larger French army consisting mainly of the nobility of France at Agincourt. This film follows Henry Vth's campaign from his landing near Harfleur, his costly successful siege and his desperate attempts to cross the River Somme and escape to Calais culminating in the Battle of Agincourt on 25th Oct 1415. The BHTV team of military historians take you through the battle separating myth from fact to tell the true story of one of the most epic episodes of English history. The story is brought to life with re-enactment footage, maps and is shot on location in France.

Sixteen year-old student Jānis has been given an interesting homework assignment – to draw his family tree and explain it. The story of his family begins with his great-great-grandfather who burned down the manors of German landowners during the 1905 revolution. My Family Tree takes us on a journey to various countries and political regimes, showing Jānis’ ancestors to be people of diverse fates and life stories. A rich Latvian trader, a red rifleman loyal to Lenin, a carpenter with the KGB and war refugees in Sweden are only a few branches on his family tree, and the boy has heard something unusual and unforgettable about each and every one of these people.

Most 72 is the very first film essay directed and produced by The Markerists and the inaugural installment in the series 'Most'. The footage and the audio were recorded in a single day on June 17th, 2013 on location in Auschwitz-Birkenau with post-production being completed within 72 hours. Surbhi Goel, a professor of cultural studies from India on her first trip outside of her homeland, recorded extemporaneous impressions as she walked the grounds of the death camp with the filmmakers. These were later used as the voice-over narration. The project serves as the template in which future Markerists film essays will be produced--shot and recorded on location and completed immediately afterwards, staying relevant in this age of instant global communication.
