Belarus. OST
The film consists of audio tracks from amateur videos taken during the 2020 protests in Belarus: the sounds of people being beaten, dinner in the kitchen to the sounds of gunfire outside the window, the heavy breathing of those running away, the sobbing of a person filming from a balcony, etc. The visuals of the film are a recording from a video surveillance camera in Minsk. Nothing is happening on the screen; it's just a city square and people walking by, living normal lives, but the sounds you hear prove that their lives are no longer normal anymore. This CCTV view looks almost like a prison cell view—the same angle, the same grays, the same grainy texture, and the same figures in the lower part of the frame.

The Flaghoisters
When is the moment you think: I'm going to hoist my regional flag? Who are these flaghoisters? And what does it mean to identify with your region? These are questions that filmmaker Okki Poortvliet, theatermaker Hans van der Werf and designer Vera Vos asked. So, they went through the whole of Drenthe, a region in the North of The Netherlands where all three of them grew up, to collect as many stories as possible from hoisters of the flag of Drenthe. The Flaghoisters is a film about the confrontation between the countryside and, as people from Drenthe call it, “the city dwellers”. A story about a disappearing language, the safety of your village, greeting each other, being proud, and just acting "normal".
Elma’s Dreams. Story of a Malvinas/Falklands Mother
Geoffrey Cardozo (English) and Julio Aro (Argentinian) are Nobel Peace Prize nominees for their joint work in a historic humanitarian cause—the restitution of the identities of Argentine casualties during the Malvinas War. Elma Pelozo is 80 years old and the mother of Gabino Ruiz Díaz, a young man who died during the war, and who remained buried in the Darwin cemetery for three decades as a “soldier only known by God.” Gabino is one of the Argentinian heroes who gained back their identity thanks to the work done by Geoffrey Cardozo and Julio Aro. Elma has two dreams—meeting Geoffrey Cardozo, the person who buried his son with honors, and traveling to Malvinas to visit his grave.
Intensely Soulful: Docu-Concert

U-96, The True Story of 'Das Boot'
Today, 80 years after the events and 40 years after the film, these images and testimonies shed an unexpected light on the reality of the fiction filmed by Petersen. The international success of the film Das Boot made the U-96, of which it fictionally recounts the 7th combat patrol at sea, the most famous of all Hitler's submarines and arguably one of the most famous movie submarines. But the true story of this extraordinary submarine and its equally exceptional crew goes far beyond fiction. Knowing that the success of Das Boot not only opened the doors of Hollywood to Wolfgang Petersen, but also made this film an absolute reference from which all submarine warfare films produced by American cinema were subsequently inspired, this opens ultimately the way to a broader reflection on the indirect, even unconscious relationship that exists between the power of the images of Hitler's propaganda and that of today's Hollywood cinema.

Eternal Spring
In March 2002, a state TV signal in China gets hacked by members of the banned spiritual group Falun Gong. Their goal is to counter the government narrative about their practice. In the aftermath, police raids sweep Changchun City, and comic book illustrator Daxiong (Justice League, Star Wars), a Falun Gong practitioner, is forced to flee. He arrives in North America, blaming the hijacking for worsening an already violent repression. But his views are challenged when he meets the lone surviving participant to have escaped China, now living in Seoul, South Korea.
