Anti Anti Generation Tour 2019
The documentary follows RADWIMPS on their long tour from last year, which saw them play 20 shows in 11 cities across Japan. It includes rehearsal and backstage footage, as well as the band interacting with the artists that joined them across the 2019 tour. The DVD and Blu-ray will feature 23 songs which includes the guest performance from Aimyon for Nakidashisodayo, a song by RADWIMPS which she features on. It also includes a documentary of the tour, as well as guest appearances from artists who joined the band on stage including Miyachi, Titan Zombies, Taka from ONE OK ROCK, and Toko Miura. RADWIMPS are set to embark on an all-new tour starting this March. Titled “KONNICHIWA NIPPON TOUR 2020,” it will take them to seven cities in Japan for 10 showsーincluding four dome venues.

This film is an elegiac experimental map of the text and textures of cities in a state of flux.

An Invocation to the Earth
Deep in the tropical rainforest of Southeast Asia, a series of incantations invoke the spirits of yore, including those of the nimble, tricksy Kancil (mouse-deer) and the ferocious Buaya (crocodile). The ancient animals enact their folkloric vendetta in a furious dance of dominance, yet long-overdue vengeance is shrouded in smoke. Meanwhile, an effigy of a tree is burning, summoning a whole other host of spectres and ancestors. Conceived during the month of the Hungry Ghost Festival in 2019, while large-scale fires were consuming the forests of Indonesia, Yeo Siew Hua’s An Invocation to the Earth confronts climate collapse through the lens of pre-colonial folktales and animistic rituals. Through spoken spells and bodily entanglements, the video conjures up the fallen environmental defenders of a region ridden with ecological threats in the hope that their spirits will be reborn once again.
Axel and the True Story of an Imaginary Illness
Little Axel’s parents filmed the story of their son’s illness. After four years moving through hospitals, he was diagnosed with Lyme disease. Axel’s life unfolds between an invisible epidemic and the imaginary pathology which is the disease. From other specialists and patients, the boy’s parents learn some information about the diagnosis which is not publicly known, which compels them to continue the double fight: against bacteria and against the medical system.

Light is material that produces its own light, and it hits an object and reveals its surface. Cinema is a ghostlike medium that record its expression through lenses. I collected the types of forms in which light escapes itself from the surface of object through the manipulation of the lens, or observe the dance of light pieces that stick to the surface of the lens. What is seen is light reflected from the surface of things, not the things themselves. Through cinema, I try to create a rhythm of non-existence created by remnants of light recorded in it. A story in which light is separated from things, escaping, staying on the surface, floating, talking, captured and dissipating.
