After 50 years of drugs, conflict and violence, Colombia is on the road to peace and reconciliation; Jenny Graham is on an expedition to find out how. During this 270km ride, Jenny will be meeting victims of the past conflict, crossing crocodile infested rivers in Colombia's unspoilt wilderness and conversing with recently demobilized guerilla fighters who have turned their hands to growing coffee. Pytuhem: A Letter in Defense of the Guardians of the Forest
A manifest performance of the artist and activist Zahy Guajajara, who tell us her life story to relate the journey of indigenous peoples’ struggle for “R-existence”. She speaks about the Guardians of the Forests, a group of Guajajara who fight for the preservation of the forests. Telling us how they resist to protect the Guajajara indigenous people; ancestors; and rituals. The Guardians of the Forest in Arariboia – Maranhão also protect the Awá Guajá, Indigenous who don’t have any contact with western civilization. The intensified deforestation caused by the fires set by groups of hunters and loggers is exhausting their water and food reserves. Since Bolsonaro became president of Brazil, five of the Forest Guardians have been murdered.
Lights On
The documentary portrays five people trying to recover from alcoholism or substance abuse. The different narratives present different aspects of addiction: there is an artist who stopped drinking without the help of Alcoholics Anonymous; a sober man for 23 years who helps anyone trying to overcome drug addiction; a woman who has been hospitalized; a retiree who has yet to overcome his addiction; and a recovered man who lives on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro.

The times are changing and the dangerous mountain pass will be turned into an autoroute. The director Minsu Park follows Stanzin on her last way to school, before she graduates and leaves her hometown forever.

The Sudanese Revolution took over 38 weeks to achieve its demands with over 300 casualties and +1200 arrests. Fire in the Nile is a documentary about how the people dealt with the government and how to protest until their demands have been granted.
