Ulterior States
The film took three years and 125 videos to complete. Through this journey, I got immersed in the decentralised crypto-currency culture and met a bunch of wonderful futuristic-pirates, I would have never met otherwise. It is becoming easier to admit that Ulterior States is an expression of my perceptions, an extract of the years 2012-2015. The collaged story explores code as activism and discovers a melting pot through the neutrality of a decentralised consensus. It looks to the future from different humanist perspectives and argues that crypto-currencies could lead towards; community governed micro-state applications.

The screenplay is an edited transcript of conversations from the family recorded over a period of two years. Actors play the members of the family to protect their identity, but we are able to hear the actual recordings throughout the film, to remind the audience that these people are real.
Dream Land
Lida, a careerdriven woman in her late 20s in the developing metropolis of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, sells modern and upscale real estate developments to the growing middle and upper class in contemporary Cambodia. Lida may be thriving as a top real estate agent, but in her personal life , her relationship with her photographer boyfriend is deteriorating. Unable to escape the trauma and prison of her interior monologue, she travels to the quiet beach town of Kep, Cambodia, with her close companions. Børge Mogensen, Designs for Life
Børge Mogensen, the celebrated and internationally renowned Danish furniture designer, died in 1972 from a brain tumor. He was only 58. His furniture designs are no longer made in Denmark, but their production has been revived in China. Thomas Mogensen, one of Børge’s two sons, vividly describes the world of the famous architect and the strain that his professional life put on him: “He wanted to make the chair to end all chairs. And he wanted to design the perfect closet…which he did. He spent an enormous amount of time designing these closets – a process that gave him the peace of mind he couldn’t provide for himself.” Join us on a journey back in time, to learn how one man managed to produce an vast amount of internationally recognized designs before his premature death.
