Tallava SuperStar
This documentary is a "small study" on social and cultural changes that grew during the time of us growing up. It's a personal perspective of young individuals on music and the phenomena of "tallava" in it. We believe that "tallava" is an adopted form of music implanted in the Balkan folk. We see this as reflection political and social events that took place during the last 15 years, time in which this specific type of music developed. This film would be platform for various thinkers, musicians and "tallava" performers to share their ideas on the short and long term effect of this social/cultural phenomenon. The aim of this documentary is to portray the influence and the causes of this music in the global culture of the region. Also this documentary is a personal journey of a generation to understand in a larger scale what are the consequences advantages of this kind of media representation.

Daxian is located deep in the Daba Mountains in the northeast of Sichuan province. Actually, Daxian is the city's former name. Its residents didn't like the name Daxian because "Xian" means town, and they wanted their home to be known as a city. So they changed its name many times, finally settling on Dachuan, which is what it is called today. This video is about a group of students studying in the railway school, which is near the train station. Their class is the best of the entire grade. Chen Tingting is the discipline commissioner of the class and also my lead actor. She is cute and outgoing. In Daxian, where surrounding villages are quickly becoming expanding city, the students' parents are preoccupied with life's distractions, and the teachers are unable to do as much for the students as they would like. So the children bounce and drift towards their futures.

The Longest Way
The Longest Way, a travel blog I kept during my attempt to walk home from Beijing to Germany. It’s a pretty comprehensive site: I chronicled what was happening on the road for a whole year from 2007 to 2008, and for two more months in 2010 and 2012 respectively. The new section of the walk that started in the summer of 2016 is also in there! In total, the site has accumulated more than 600 posts, all of which are in English, and most of which are about walking. There are maps, photos and videos to accompany the posts, and for most walking days I would pick a song that I thought was worth listening to on that day. If you read it all, you will get a pretty good impression of what it was like to walk through Northern China in the Olympic year and the years after, and through Central Asia this year.

Irene

Irene is a personal portrayal of three generations of women who all have to face a difficult decision. The film observes particular circumstances which highlight the tension between Irene's desire to live at home and the dangers she faces in doing so.
Kings of the Time
A documentary with elements of animation about 85-year-old Elbert Tuganov and 80-year-old Heino Pars - two animators and artists who despite changing times have become masters of their domain. The exact time of the real events in the documentary is not actually essential. It may be yesterday, today, tomorrow... And it may happen to you... and to me... However, in the film, it all took place in the 1950s, the time when the first Sputnik was launched to space, rivers were reversed and hydraulic power plants built.
