Years later, cut to the present day, he is freed from this curse, when Sita, a young woman falls on this rock. Mareecha takes it upon himself to protect Sita at all times. Sita works as a secretary to Rajaram, an estate owner. When she realizes that Rajaram's relatives were milking him of his wealth, she tightens the purse strings, thereby earning their wrath.
