This is a movie about the life and work of the Merited Worker of Arts of Russia, stage and film director Valery Akhadov. His professional life was a success, but his personal life was hardly easy. In the early 90-s at a highpoint in his career the director and his family had to leave Dushanbe together with his friends and colleagues from the Russian Drama Theatre. They all relocated to Magnitogorsk and began to work at the Pushkin Drama Theatre. 13 years later the VGIK graduate returned to the town of his youth and has been teaching young directors ever since. As usual he is full of creative ideas and plans.

Yao Shangde is a mime artist from Taiwan. He has rich experience in stage performance. In 2011, he suddenly decided to start his personal street mime performance project "Mime Runaway". He thinks that he would be more willing to perform his mime art on the street than performing in a static theater. He believes that performing arts should enter every ordinary person's daily life. He also tried to use this form of performance to teach people how to open up and accept strangers around him. The inexplicable fear of strangers has always been the demon he has been unable to overcome in the past ten years. This time, the leitmotiv is either a spot of light or a dark spot that he generates using a pierced piece of paper and a glass filter onto which he has previously painted a black dot, respectively. These procedures trace back to the mechanisms of early cameras, reminding us that what we see is not the world but the glimpse of it that a contraption was able to catch.
