Living Memory
Living Memory
The Living Memory Project began back in 2009 on the 70th anniversary of the end of the Spanish Civil War with the recording of the event, organized in Paris to the Spanish Exiles and the victims of the Nazi extermination camp of Mauthausen. Our goal thereafter focused on collecting the greatest possible number of testimonies related to the history of Spanish anarcho-syndicalism. As part of the celebrations of 100 years of CNT we set up the project, the union decided to fund it and we set off . We travelled 12,000 km visiting three countries relying on the logistical support of CNT and selfless work of their members as well as partners Malicious Films GuerrillART. This is the result: 80 hours worth of records, 300 hours worth of testimony in timing and transcription meant for reference purposes at the Anselmo Lorenzo Foundation and 0 actors. Teen Killers: Life without Parole
Teen Killers: Life without Parole
In the United States more than 2,500 people are serving life-without-parole sentences for crimes they committed when they were 17 or younger. In this film, five of them, all convicted for first degree murder, tell their stories. Brian was a 16-year-old outsider inspired by the Columbine School massacre when he and school friend Torey killed their classmate Cassie in a chilling murder reminiscent of a scene from a horror film. Josiah and Jacob both reflect on the impact childhood abuse had on the appalling murders they committed and Sean recalls gang life in the notorious Bloods, killing a passer-by the first time he shot a gun. All five give sober insights into their teenage selves and the deep regret they feel for their victims and all those impacted by their crimes. Through their stories the film asks some difficult questions. What is justice when a teenager kills? Can a horrific act place a life beyond redemption? Are there alternatives or should we simply dispose of them?

10 Years Athens Pride
“In 2014, on the tenth anniversary of Athens Pride, I grabbed a camera and asked the thoughts of different people in the community: was there any change? Opinion was divided, but the opinion that came last was that of Zak Kostopoulos – who was right!”: these are the words of the influential figure Maria Cyber, as she looks back at her first attempt in filmmaking. “I think things are changing, getting better. They’re also getting worse at the same time, strangely enough. There’s an increase in people who are very anti [-LGBTQI+] and those who are pro… Let’s see who’ll win in the end – we will!” Zak charmingly said to the camera held by Maria, with whom he had a friendly relationship, four years before his brutal murder.
