"25 Weeks: A Wisconsin Harvest" is the story of the 2020 wheat harvest on Anarchy Acres, a tiny farm in Wisconsin. This unusual farm is working hard to re-create the wheat of 19th century Wisconsin by growing out rare wheat cultivars from samples held in seed banks. Anarchy Acres uses a team of miniature donkeys for some field work, and pays close attention to sustainable farming practices. Food, the environment, and mutual respect are lived out in a millennia-old cycle.

Leaving Beginnings Behind

She explores their dreams about liberty, the reality they must face as well as their ideas about their own future families. The sequel to her first longitudinal documentary about Adéla, Denisa and Pavla captures the rocky road to independence after leaving the facility, their reconciliation with the past, job search, new relationships, small joys and big disappointments. Not only does the director draw an empathic portrait of three young girls with no-one to rely on but themselves; she also explores the ways in which public institutions form young people’s attitudes to life.

Although their lives have taken different routes and their political views don't align, they remain close friends.

Whale Island

Oceanic literature author Liao Hung-chi and underwater photographer Ray Chin lead the audience out to the sea and into the water. They prompt us to understand the sea and to think about the possibility that the ocean might become our lives and the future of our country.
Territorial Fight
“Territorial Fight” follows a student and her mentor through various vocal and speech exercises. The student is subordinated to the trainer during the lessons, ready to be guided and shaped by him. Yet from a certain moment she becomes the author and the authorial narrator. As a voice over, her speech overlays the command-like speaking of the teaching situation and self-confidently opposes it with another register. The teacher’s words are decreased and cut off as the student finds a pictorial language with which she describes how song birds assert their territory through their singing, and therefore raise their claim to space. The films consists of a collage of several lessons with a voice and speech trainer from a music and theatre school. The learning objective of the student was the desire to speak in a space-occupying way.

Light on a wall 2
This silent film is from a body of work made in the film maker's home during the Covid-19 pandemic when he found it difficult to make other work due to social distancing. The work consists of films of the walls of the interior of his house, or views of the outside world filmed through windows of the house. This is a short time lapse film showing the movement of areas of light and shadows across a wall in the corner of a room over a period of several hours.
