How To Be a Perfect Human
Covid-19 has made it even harder to be perfect than it already was. Here is a film that shows us how to do it. A remake of Jørgen Leth’s film from 1967, which, with a gracefully choreographed body language, places itself between dance and performance - with social distancing and masks, of course. However, the perfectionism of the black-and-white aesthetics is just as uncompromising in Maia Sørensen and Kristina Daurova’s update, which with understated humour takes a look at what it takes to be a human being (perfect or not) during a pandemic, from private dinner parties to the public space.

A Love Song in Spanish
The piece, an experiment that begins on the skin, in the skins of a family that spoke in silence about a tropical dictatorship in the 1980s, the dictatorship of a house. The skins whispered silently and their voices were heard in the corners, on the walls, in the cooking pot, on the soupspoon, on the wet beans. As the soldiers marched in the streets, the echo of their footsteps resonated in the walls of the home of a military man’s family, a house where the words were forgotten. With few oral resources, some photographs and some stolen confessions, the director proposes an exploration that goes from the personal to the political through a fictionalized experience of the family story related to the dictatorship of Panama.
Five Hundred Letters From Home
Sunshine is a 20 year old young woman who served a sentence for drug abuse. Having found to be pregnant on her first day in prison, where the child was born, Sunshine was left with a new reason to live. Although in the past the relationship with her family was not the best, during the time in prison her relatives made sure they would write every day, and visited without fail. On the day of her release, she was carrying over 500 letters and a chance to turn a new page in her life.

This documentary examines these questions from a scientific perspective and shows that the world is definitely more colorful than we long believed.

"yesterday and yesterday" is a film about observations made in spring 2020 and 2021.Two worlds separated by a year. Personal reflections mix with realities that sometimes change the filmmaker’s perception of the world. A constant return to locations that have been walked through. The observation of a changed world caused by a pandemic -in terms of shifting colours. Seasonal colour that are perceived quite differently by the human eye, the deceleration of planet earth have also alternated the spring of 2021. Our Purgatory
This collective film, a cinematographic performance, in a way a tribute to the poet and priest Jakub Deml, presents the experiences of individual creators upon encountering his texts from the ensemble "My Purgatory". It wavers between spontaneous, even raw film, and conceptual performance. A "heretical mass" of four interpenetrating parts in color (Closure, Pilgrimage, Home, Cemetery), which define typically Deml motifs. The fifth part, in high contrast black and white, is a reaction to the illusion of a colorful world, a voice from the graveyard that frames the eternally absurd human quest for immortality.

Remember to Kiss Me When You Wake Up

In these letters, the women share their deepest feelings and insecurities. This autobiographical essay also takes the form of a letter. Its author revives the lively letter exchange through videos recorded on her mobile phone and her own animations. It is not only a dialogue of the women in the family, but also of the past and the present, of people and their images.
