You Saw Them Here First is the show that breaks into the archives to reveal the television debuts of some of Britain’s best-loved actors and actresses, presenters and pop stars. There are baby-faces, mullets, dodgy fashions, fresh-faced actors and longhaired chefs, all serving up their television debuts. Plus, some lucky stars visit the video vault to come face to face with their past as they're presented with long-forgotten footage from yesteryear.

Episode one reveals Coronation Street’s Sue Nicholls as Birmingham waitress Marilyn in Crossroads, Hollyoaks’ Nick Pickard is confronted with the day he turned into a lizard, Brian Blessed regales us with the moment Judi Dench spat at him on ‘Z Cars’ and Alison Steadman has the first lesbian kiss on TV way back in 1974.
Episode two features another stellar collection of early appearances from Claudia Winkleman, Michael Sheen, Ant McPartlin, Robson Green, Sacha Baron Cohen, Lee Mack and many more.
