The Rachel Maddow Show is a daily news and opinion television program that airs on MSNBC, running in the 9:00 pm ET timeslot. It is hosted by Rachel Maddow, who gained popularity with her frequent appearances as a liberal pundit on various MSNBC programs. It is based on her former radio show of the same name. The show debuted on September 8, 2008.

Hosted by Hamish Macdonald, Q&A puts punters, pollies and pundits together in the studio to thrash out the hot issues of the week. It's about democracy in action - the audience gets to ask the questions.
What Would You Do?
An American television news magazine and hidden camera show. Actors act out scenes of conflict or illegal activity in public settings while hidden cameras videotape the scene, and the focus is on whether or not bystanders intervene, and how. Variations are also usually included, such as changing the genders, the races or the clothing of the actors performing the scene, to see if bystanders react differently. Quiñones appears at the end to interview the bystanders about their reactions. As the experiment goes on, psychology professors, teachers, or club members watch and discuss the video with Quiñones, explaining and making inferences on the bystanders' reactions.
I Love the New Millennium
I Love the New Millennium, the latest entry into the I Love the... series, is a nostalgia show focusing on the 2000s and premiered on VH1 Monday, June 23, 2008. Each night, from Monday to Thursday, two of the eight episodes premiered, corresponding to the years from 2000 to 2007. As the series aired in 2008, it did not include episodes for the years 2008 or 2009. Episodes for those years never came to fruition, as the series has since been abandoned.

It is a political satire news show spin-off from Saturday Night Live, featuring that show's "Weekend Update" segment. It initially ran for three 30-minute episodes in October 2008, during the lead-up to the 2008 United States presidential election.

CQC - Custe o Que Custar
Custe o Que Custar is a Brazilian television comedy show, produced by Eyeworks and aired weekly by Rede Bandeirantes since March 17, 2008. It is presented by Marcelo Tas, and has in its team Marco Luque and Oscar Filho. The news reports are conducted by Felipe Andreoli, Monica Iozzi, Mauricio Meirelles, Ronald Rios and Dani Calabresa.
The program covers weekly events from Politics, Arts and Sports, from a humorous and satirical viewpoint. It oftens uses metalanguage by satyrizing the very program on live transmissions, and introducing graphics and sound effects from the subjects.
The format comes from Argentina, when it was originated under the name Caiga Quien Caiga, created in 1995 by Mario Pergolini
Crime 360
Crime 360 is an American reality television show based on homicide detective units in various cities across the United States, including Richmond, Virginia; Rochester, New York; Little Rock, Arkansas; Indianapolis, Indiana; Cleveland, Ohio. The detective units in each of these cities use a Leica or a Deltasphere three-dimensional scanner to photograph the crime scene, essentially "freezing" it for study during the investigation; hence, the series title "Crime 360."
It is produced by BASE Productions.
Human Body: Pushing the Limits
Human Body: Pushing the Limits, is a television program that premiered on the Discovery Channel on March 2, 2008 in North America. Titles in this series include "Strength", "Sight", "Brainpower", and "Sensation".
Millions watched the first 2 episodes of this 4 part series on March 2. Since then "The Discovery Store" has had many requests to buy the DVD set. These videos were released after the final 2 episodes on March 9 at 9:00 and 10:00pm eastern time.
This show covers topics on how the body reacts to moments of extreme stress like being stuck in a cave or running away from forest fires. It is made up of four episodes that all concentrate on a certain aspect of our body when we are "pushed to the limit".
⁕Strength - This episode covers how our muscles react when we are pushed to the limit. It covers stories of how people can suddenly lift masses 6 times his or her weight or run at speeds that even olympic runner can't match.
⁕Sight - This episode covers the aspect of how our eyes react in emergency situations. We can see much better and see details we normally can not see.
⁕Brainpower - This episode covers how our brain takes control of our body and can order our body to do things it usually could not or would not do. Examples include how our brain can order our body to eat the muscles of our body for energy or make us eat things we would usually find disgusting, and also covers dreaming.

Food Detectives was a food science show hosted by Ted Allen that aired in North America on Food Network. Ted Allen, backed by research conducted by Popular Science magazine, investigates food-related beliefs, such as the validity of the five-second rule or the effectiveness of ginger to relieve motion sickness. In addition to support from scientists such as molecular biologist Dr. Adam Ruben and Popular Science staff members, Allen is assisted on-screen by a group of so-called "Food Techs," often-silent assistants who are the participants in simple experiments exploring food-related myths, beliefs, practices, and folkways.
Brink
Brink, stylized as brink., is an American news documentary television series that was produced by CBS Eye Too Productions for the Science Channel and that originally aired from November 28, 2008 to August 25, 2009. The program is hosted by Australian Josh Zepps and presents stories about up and coming science and technology in a magazine style.
D. L. Hughley Breaks the News
D. L. Hughley Breaks the News was a comedy news show that aired on CNN from October 25, 2008 to March 2009, hosted and head written by comedian D. L. Hughley. On March 9, 2009, CNN announced that Hughley would be ending the show due to a desire to work in Los Angeles and be closer to his family. He plans to continue his work with CNN as a Los Angeles-based contributor for the network.
On the show's finale, Hughley did a report about legalizing marijuana. He said that he had a back problem and took the show into his doctor's office to get his prescription refilled, but CNN censored some of the interview. D. L. Hughley Breaks the News will returns to CNN Coming 2014
Just In
Just In with Laura Ingraham was a short-lived news program broadcast on the Fox News Channel weekdays at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The show was hosted by conservative talk radio host Laura Ingraham. The show, said to be a limited trial run, lasted only three weeks on the air before being canceled; it was replaced by the same show that preceded it: America's Election Headquarters.
The show received significant public coverage shortly after its cancellation when a tape of off-air excerpts featuring Ingraham was leaked to the internet. In the nine-minute video Ingraham questions Fox News' style, and describes the show as a "train wreck."
Projectorparishilton
Projectorparishilton - was a Russian satirical show aired on the Channel One. The first episode was aired on 17 May 2008.
Four hosts discuss some current news and comment on different issues in politics and economics, similar to 7 Tage, 7 Köpfe. The show's name is a reference to the 80s TV program "Прожектор Перестройки" - a program that was discussing current events on Soviet television during the times of Perestroika - and American socialite Paris Hilton, who, according to Svetlakov, symbolizes lack of taste. Thus, the name of the show implies that this is a current events program that shouldn't be taken seriously.
The four hosts usually discuss interesting news from newspapers, journals and the internet. From time to time they also answer questions from the audience. The show usually ends with the hosts performing a well-known song. In most cases the song is connected to an event. The show is half improvised.
The show aired until June 2012, when most hosts have switched to hosts on shows airing on competiting channels.
