Synopsis
The long-awaited rebirth of the greatest superhero team of all time: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter.

Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor survive the attack and trick the Germans into believing that the communicator was destroyed. GL and Easy Co. find the runaway and discover that Vandal Savage plans to use jet aircraft to invade America. GL boards and tries to stop Vandal's plane while Hawkgirl, Superman, and Flash try to intercept the flight with J'onn's help. With the aid of the Blackhawks and Flash notifying the U.S. Navy, the German flight is shot down and Vandal apparently is killed. The JLA return to the present to find everything restored and Wonder Woman visits a now elderly Steve Trevor in the restored present.

The Joker also becomes part of the team, but on his own choice. However, this gang proves short-lived as its major weakness proves no match for Batman's wiles.

Dark Skies is an American UFO conspiracy theory-based sci-fi television series that aired from the 1996 to 1997 season for 18 episodes, plus a two-hour pilot episode. The success of The X-Files on Fox proved there was an audience for science fiction shows, resulting in NBC commissioning this proposed competitor following a pitch from producers Bryce Zabel and Brent Friedman. The series debuted September 21, 1996 on NBC, and was later rerun by the Sci-Fi Channel. Its tagline was "History as we know it is a lie."
Captain Star

They share their world with the bizarre Soup Dragon, who lives in a soup well and provides them with their staple diet of green soup and blue string pudding; the Glow Buzzers, which supply light and tasty glow honey; and the tiny orange Froglets, magical creatures that live inside a travelling top-hat. Other beings encountered by the Clangers are the Iron Chicken, originally found in pieces and who, once reconstructed by the little planet's inhabitants, now lives in a nest in the sky; the large, odd, blue-skinned Skymoos; and the water-providing Cloud.
