We
The voices in this film are all conscientious citizens doing their utmost to improve the state of their nation. Their ethos is: “Where affairs of state are concerned, we cannot stand idly by and watch.” And yet the reward for their concern is a lifetime spent in political turmoil, years of periodic intimidation and surveillance. This film illustrates the perils of seeking freedom in a time of darkness, in a time when critique requires transformation. It depicts the harsh realities faced by three generations of activists—young, middle-aged and elderly– and allows us to better understand their anxieties, hopes, despairs and above all, their persistence.
Cómicos
“Cómicos” is a sentimental road movie in which we have accompanied the veteran Benavente Company on their tour of Spain. It is the last touring repertory theatre company left in Spain, whose patriarchs, Luis and Aurora, are approaching 80 years old. At the same time, on this emotional journey, we are introduced to the supporting actors, such as Manuel Andrés oandAmparo Pacheco - also octogenarians - who live their profession with dignity and unwavering enthusiasm. In “Cómicos” the names of our protagonists do not appear on illuminated signs but they shine with their own light in a film that talks about passion, the passage of time and the thin line that separates triumph and failure.
Eight Diagrams
On the 29th lunar New Year's Eve of the twelfth lunar month of a certain year, it was getting late in Guangzhou. A trance-looking boy drove through the urban jungle, wandering alone on the streets, waiting to meet his girlfriend a few years ago, expecting a result to happen. In an old town, a middle-aged woman brought a girl along the street to beg for food. At the gate of a certain community, they encountered a middle-aged man who was driving around after drinking and eating. The man invited them to have a barbecue at a roadside stall and made a suggestion. In a hospital, two security guards were bored at the gate. After work, I decided to go to a certain village in a city and village to win money after work. Unexpectedly, the night was getting thicker and the flow of people was surging. The Spring Festival Gala is going on grandly, and the air is full of noise and anxiety, three realities Event, tearing apart the absurd reality of the crazy city•••
Classmates
Twenty plus classmates look back into the past, tracing back through a 30 year history. One after another adapts to the random events that come to shape their lives, to the four seasons of life and nature. The years they were about experience coincided with the reforms and opening up of China. Floating in the changes of the new era, some experience compromises and the loss of ideals, whilst some keep struggling ahead with great determination. Thirty years later, Lin Xin encounters his old classmates, and records their individual lives and history; the ease of monotony, the loneliness of success, the weariness of a life of plentiful, the helplessness of poverty... all come forth in the lives of these group of people, becoming an epitome of the lives of ordinary people in small to middle-sized cities in this era, and at the same time reflecting on a generation that advances forward undefeated.

The Idiot Cycle
The Idiot Cycle investigates six major chemical companies—Dow Chemical, BASF, Bayer, Dupont, Astrazeneca and Monsanto—that are not only responsible for producing decades of cancer causing chemicals and pollution all across the globe, but also profit extensively from controlling cancer treatments and the production of drugs for those treatments. The irony is palpable. Also examined is how these very same companies own the most patents on genetically modified foods that have also never been tested for long-term health impacts like cancer. When there’s dioxin in every mother’s breast-milk, rivers throughout the world that no longer support life, cataclysmic environmental damage from industry and manufacturing—when do we say enough is enough?
The Inheritance of War
Detailing an ongoing fight for justice, The Inheritance of War follows the little-known tale of thousands of WWII soldiers held as prisoners of war in the Philippines after the largest defeat in United States military history. The emotional story of survival and hardship describes nearly-forgotten events like the death march across the Bataan Peninsula, the "hell ships" that carried prisoners of war to Japan, and harrowing stories of starvation, poor treatment, and harsh conditions experienced when the men were forced to work as slave laborers for Japanese corporations. Fifty-five years later, the aging soldiers filed a class action suit, seeking justice and recognition for wrongs committed against them by the now multi billion-dollar corporations. James Parkinson, a 30-year veteran attorney from Palm Desert, Calif., worked on their case in 1999. He carries their story to high schools across America, reminding the next generation that the past writes the prologue to the future.

The event included bouts that encompass the DREAM, Sengoku Raiden Championship, K-1, and K-1 World MAX banners. The event had the conclusion of the U18 K-1 KOSHIEN 62 kg Class Tournament. The Final Four, as decided from eight participants at K-1 World MAX 2009 World Championship Tournament Final in October, faced off in a one-night tournament to decide the K-1 KOSHIEN 2009 Champion. Also, the conclusion of the DREAM Super Hulk tournament was held.

EVENTUALLY HIP-HOP ARTISTS WOULD ADAPT THE RECORD COMPANY FORMULA, AND START TO STRATEGICALLY PROMOTE AND MARKET THEIR OWN MUSIC. THIS HAS CREATED A CONFLICT INSIDE THE INDUSTRY. THE RECORD COMPANIES, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE RECORDING INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA (RIAA), HAVE DECLARED WAR. OFFICES HAVE BEEN RAIDED, MOM AND POP STORES HAVE BEEN CLOSED AND MANY HAVE BEEN ARRESTED. HIP-HOP ARTISTS, DJS, AND PRODUCERS HAVE DECIDED THAT THE ONLY WAY TO SURVIVE IN THE MUSIC BUSINESS IS TO "KILL THE RECORD LABELS".
Keralotsavam Mission 2009
Padmanabhan Embranthiri (Nedumudi Venu) is running an institution viz. 'Kalanikethan' . He is invited to perform the Kerala art forms on the stage of a cultural festival named Keralotsavam 2009. His daughter Ganga (Vishnu Priya) was doing research in Mohiniyattam. So she was entrusted in doing all the arrangements of the programme. Sandeep Subramanyam (Vinu Mohan) arrives there to perform Kalaripayattu. There he meets Ganga and falls in love. But he is a terrorist named Javed Ibrahim in disguise and his mission is to blast a bomb during the Keralotsavam event. The terrorist group aims to destroy the communal harmony and evoke a riot. Whether or not Sandeep aka Javed succeeds in the mission forms the climax of the movie.
After the Storm
AFTER THE STORM is a feature-length documentary film that follows a group of New York Broadway actors who were inspired to help the youth of New Orleans. They stage a musical theater production of the Broadway play "Once on this Island" with local teenagers at the St. Marks Community Center located at the edge of the French Quarter. The film follows the crew and the kids from auditions through performances and also includes the story of each young actor's life in the wake of Katrina.' The story of the musical reflects very much so the life in New Orleans post Katrina.

One Crazy Ride

Lembing Awang Pulang Ke Dayang
This movie is related to an incident that occurred in Johor. It occurred in 1776 when a man called Awang returned to Parit Raja after more than 3 years abroad to marry his fiancee Dayang. Upon his return, he found out that another man called Bachok had told Dayang of Awang's death and planning to marry her the next day. Awang turned up at the wedding ceremony and using a spear given by Raja Bugis, he speared Bachok in the stomach. Bachok, fatally injured grabbed the spear in his stomach and speared his best man. The man then speared the next man he saw and this was repeated until the 99th person was speared. It was Dayang's father who was protecting Dayang. He did not continue the repeated spearing and died. Awang ran away to Endau and Dayang did not marry another till she died.
