You won't be disappointed!

Excellent, Without a doubt!!

It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.

This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

After a humiliating commando performance at The Kennedy Center, the Barden Bellas enter an international competition that no American group has ever won in order to regain their status and right to perform. Pitch Perfect 2 is a pretty good and suprising well made comedy sequel that really does reach the original's high marks but also brings more fun, more laughs and more characters as a whole but also stays true on it's roots on being a musical, comedy unlike Pitch Perfect 3 that turned into a freaking action film for some reason. Pitch Perfect 2 is a very good film on it's own but also just as good as the original and that's pretty damn rare this days to be honest. (10/10)

I really enjoyed the first movie but the second one is so dumb. I did not find it comedic at all. The actors weren't terrible I just think the overall plot sucks and that's what ruins the movie.

I was quite shocked when I saw and enjoyed "Pitch Perfect". After all, I am in my 50s and not exactly the demographic they were going for in the film. So, because of this, I then decided to try "Pitch Perfect II"...and I did enjoy the film, though not quite as much as the first film. Much of it was due to Jessica Kendrick's character...who just didn't seem anything like the sweet lady from the first movie.The film begins with the a capella group at the very top of the world. They are performing on television at the Kennedy Center for the President! However, due to a horrific wardrobe malfunction, the group goes from the darlings of America to hated jerks. The film is about how the girls somehow manage to overcome this AND take on the dreaded German group, DSM at the international championship in Copenhagen.The best thing about the film was also a big plus in the first movie--the inane commentary by the two announcers (Elizabeth Banks and John Michael Higgens)...especially Higgens. As for Banks, it wasn't like she was a slouch, as she also directed and co-produced the movie! I also enjoyed seeing many of the familiar characters from the other films...aside from Kendricks', who seemed inexplicably self-centered and grouchy. For this reason alone, I think the original is a tad better....but they are both still very watchable.

This a pretty good and funny movie here. It also makes a good tribute to a lot of really good songs. This is kind of like the movie version of Glee here. One funny part of this is that at the beginning of this when those singing group of girls perform in front of a huge audience including President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama and this fat girl is on this sash from the ceiling and she almost falls off the sash and her skirt is pulled down and her hole is revealed to the president and first lady and they did not like the look of it. lol. This movie also has a funny part where those girls and other singing groups are in a competition hosted by David Cross. Also for some reason the Green Bay Packers are in the competition too. lol. All those guys can think about though is football. lol. At the very end the girls go up against this singing German group and they win and become champions. Funny and clever singing movie here.
