Hollywood's Second World War
For the USA, World War 2 was an all-out war - to mobilize the masses, the US government launched a huge propaganda campaign and cinema, the medium of the masses, was quite simply their most important weapon. Government authorities monitored the production of feature films and the military itself produced documentaries aimed at rallying the American people to support the troops. This film tells the story of four Hollywood directors of European origin, who returned to the "Old World" during the Second World War to make propaganda documentaries for the US Army at the front: William Wyler from Alsace, Frank Capra from Italy, Anatole Litvak from Ukraine and - in post-war Germany - Billy Wilder from Austria.

Starting Point
Sang-hun, a painter, and Yeong-hun, a doctor, are brothers. Sang-hun's girlfriend left him for another man, and he draws her portrait everyday. Yeong-hun, the older of the two, makes a medical mistake, and his young patient dies. Because of the guilty conscience, he abandons the career as a doctor and devotes himself to writing a novel. However, the brothers have high self-esteem and finally overcome their weaknesses to make a fresh start.
Tamgohoy
Synopsis: Dagohoy plays a flute near a river when disrupted by an ethereal voice and the tragic news of his brother's death. Desperate for a proper burial, he pleads with the reluctant Friar for blessing, leading to a disagreement and Dagohoy's injury. A kind villager found Dagohoy helplessly and tended his wound. Afterwards, a 'spirit' visited Dagohoy in his dream. The following day, they seek Tamblot, a male Babaylan and revolutionary leader, to further heal Dagohoy's wounds. While performing the ritual of renewal and baptizing the new resistance fighters, the Friar saw the traditional baptism. He disapproves and challenges Tamblot, leading to a fight. After some time, while still constantly visited by the 'spirit,' the revolutionaries prepare for a significant uprising led by Dagohoy. Their battle cry for justice signals the beginning of 85 years of revolution.

The Falcon Fighters

The King of Sniper in Northeast
This tells the story of 1931, after the "Mukden Incident" broke out, the sniper Ren Tianxing did not listen to the dissuasion and led the anti-Japanese squad to be killed in a night battle to ambush the Japanese army. Five years later, Ren Tianxing lives in a cottage, just drinking and gambling, and happened to meet Bai Ge, his former comrade-in-arms. In order to protect Bai Ge, he decided to join the CCP underground assassination organization, to participate in the assassination of Japanese virology expert Sakamoto Ichiro, and protect the people. It was his former opponent Sorimachi Kazuya who successfully killed Ichiro Sakamoto by acting alone to protect his comrade-in-arms Ren Tianxing. However, only three people, Ren Tianxing, Baige and Lao Jiao, survived the evacuation.

Velvet Season
