War Stories
A feature-length pilot film for a proposed NBC series, War Stories is set in a battle-torn Middle Eastern country that is obviously Uzbekistan (but not identified as such). Cynical, hard-as-nails American war correspondent Ben Dansmore (Jeff Goldblum) balks at being assigned a new photographer/partner so soon after the newcomer's predecessor (who happened to be Ben's best friend) was literally blown to bits while covering a hot story. "There's no such thing as truth; that's why they call them stories." That is Ben's philosophy, one that he hopes to impart to idealistic young Nora Stone (Lake Bell). But Nora, whose sister died in the terrorist attacks of September 11, refuses to be as cold and dispassionate as Ben. It takes a series of near-death experiences dodging bullets and fanatical rebels for Ben and Nora to find the common ground so necessary to their future teamwork.

Twilight of the Gods
A Maori warrior comes upon the aftermath of a battle to find that the only survivor is a wounded enemy soldier. Front-line Cameraman
Documentary about Front-line Cameraman Vladimir Sushchinsky. He died on February 22, 1945 when the Soviet army liberated the Polish city of Breslau (now Wrocław) from the Nazi invaders. Sushchinsky's funeral was filmed by his comrade in the front-line film group, cameraman Nikolay Bykov (died March 18, 1945). The film includes the last shots taken by Boris Pumpyansky, who died near Uzhgorod on December 26, 1944. During the 1418 days of the war, at the risk of their own lives, Front-line Cameraman shot 3.5 million meters of film, more than 500 issues of Newsreels, and 101 Documentaries. It is to them that we owe our living memory of that war. The course of combat battles on all fronts was filmed by 252 Cameraman of the Central Studio of Documentaries. One in five died at the front.
Unicorn Hunt
Summer, 1944. A military airbase near the very front-line. A young soviet pilot Sergey makes his first practice flight. In the course of this flight he hears a call for help on the radio from Russian pilots, having an unequal air combat with superior forces of the enemy. Sergey rushes to their rescue. His plane gets shut down, and he is taken prisoner. Soon he is taken to a special flight school, where future German aces are prepared and Russian pilots at the wheel of captured Russian aircrafts are used as living targets. Nobody wants to put up with such situation, and they prepare an escape.

When Jack's wife objects to the "girlfriend" in spite of their unhappy marriage, Jack and Ina resort to writing secret love letters, which sustain them throughout the horrible circumstances of the war.
