The Visitor
Luca and Otilia,two young people just beginning their lives, move in the big city, helped by their childhood friend, Vlad. They rent a flat in an old building, in which only one old man lives, Felix. The flat has a peculiar past: a former tenant, Irina, disappeared mysteriously 6 months ago. One night, after a big fight, Luca falls asleep in the living room and leaves Otilia alone in the bedroom. During the night, Luca hears the scream of his wife coming from the bedroom. Scared, Luca goes to the room where he had heard the scream from. He notices that his wife has disappeared, just like the previous tenant, without any warning. A crazy game begins: Luca has to find out what happened to his wife and face the accusations that others bring on him, especially to Vlad's, who was in love with Otilia.

Gay Alien Shame Parade (GASP!)
Created for Nuit Rose, an arts festival at Pride Toronto, 2017. The previous year, Black Lives Matter - Toronto intervened in the Toronto Pride parade, resulting in significant changes to Pride 2017. Among the most controversial of BLM-Toronto's demands was the "Removal of police floats in Pride marches and parades." The artists were surprised and disturbed by the frequently negative response to this demand from largely cis white men that they encountered on social media and in person. These men had no memory, nor understanding, of the long history of police violence against the LGBT+ communities, and especially against People of Colour, a history that continues today. In solidarity with BLM-Toronto, the artists animated a satirical Shame Parade in another world, composed entirely of floats that document police violence against the LGBT+ communities in the greater Toronto area from the 1940s to the present day.

The River's Bed
Following disastrous floods, a vast construction project is in the process of revitalizing the Rhone by removing the concrete straitjacket, and instead enlarging the river's bed to promote river life. The filmmaker follows the development of this unusually inclusive project through its diverse protagonists, including hydrobiologists, fishermen, farmers, engineers and concerned citizens. Their divergent concerns permit a fuller and unbiased understanding of the complexity of such a project. As a result, this engaging and lyrical film is a journey that prompts a universal questioning of our past and future relationship with nature and territory.

Inner Beauty portrays a Character name Claire that has been dealing with Low self-esteem issues about her outer body since she was a child, because of the mental and physical abuse she witnessed growing up. She has an ongoing battle with obesity and does not realize her self- worth. Claire meets a man that tells her she is beautiful inside and out and that greater beauty comes from within. Later she finds out that he is a doctor and he offers her help to love herself. She denies any help and continues to battle depression. Low self-esteem is often the root cause of one's inability to lose weight and keep it off for good. In Claire's case she has had difficulty letting go of her past demons and therefore it causes her to have very low self-esteem and she becomes depressed and goes to a very DARK place.

In the First Republic (1889-1930) as well as in the Vargas Era (1930-1945) the traditional terreiro communities were criminalized, their religious leaders were persecuted and their sacred objects were seized. In Rio de Janeiro, more than 200 objects were seized by the police, and after the end of the official criminalization, they became part of the collection in the Museum of Civil Police. The documentary The Sacred within us deals with the past of persecution towards traditional terreiro communities, the "Black Magic" collection found in the Police Museum, the difficulty of access to the collection by religious, researchers and the population in general, as well as the struggle for to release the sacred objects that have been in the possession of the Civil Police of the State of Rio de Janeiro for 100 years.
