Now, after playing itself out in the media for 3 years it is finally making its way to the public.

Abstract film made from the video capture of a live animation performance presented in Vienna on May 30th 2011 at the Stadtkirche with Andrea Martignoni in the context of the Vienna Independent Shorts Festival. It was a double performance where parts engraved directly on ±
16mm black film are inserted on a background made with the help of a live mixing software. The film is based, on the one hand, on a process of condensation and densification of the original footage of the performance that serves as a departure for interventions that intensify its energetic potentialities.

A Man's Rave
Compulsion, obsession and passion may lead some people to creativity and to acts which at first glance may seem eccentric. One such character is Stratos, a 42 years old butcher who lives in Athens, Greece. "A MAN’S RAVE" documentary is a penetrating journey into his idiosyncrasy, his struggle for survival, his unfulfilled plans, his memories, and his passion for electronic dance music or Rave as it’s often called. Strato’s butcher shop is not an ordinary store where customers just go and buy meat, but rather a place where once you enter, it feels like you’re in a party of the early Rave scene. The loud music, the lights and the rhythms create an atmosphere that gives the butchery a totally new dimension.

Umphrey's McGee took the stage of The Tabernacle in Atlanta, Georgia for the second night of their New Year's run and treated their fans to yet another live debut, playing "Drink My Drank" to eager fans' satisfaction. The entire first set was on fire, but the beginning of set two gives you a way to see Umphrey's like never before. Each member of the band is sporting a GoPro camera. You'll get a close up view of shredding guitar solos via Brenden and Jake's guitar cameras. You'll get bass slapping and head-banging via Stasik's head mounted GoPro. There's a combination of spacey and beautiful keyboard licks you'll see from the "JoelPro," and you'll witness the heart of Umphrey's McGee beat through the chest-mounted cams worn by Andy and Kris as they power through "1348" and "Day Nurse."
