A Month in Thailand
In Bucharest on a winter’s morning, a couple make love. Adina wants to move in with her boyfriend Radu as soon as possible. Director Paul Negogescu draws a portrait of Radu with precision and subtle irony – and captures the atmosphere of a New Year’s evening with great authenticity.

On the soundtrack, Benning reads extracts from Kaczynski’s journals from the early 1970s, recording his progress at hunting and gathering, and his connection to the Montana wilderness; a hand-written folded sheet of paper detailing his acts of “monkey wrenching” and first attempts at planting bombs; two notebooks written in numerical code in 1985 and decoded by Benning in 2011; two excepts from Industrial Society and Its Future by "FC" (aka the Unabomber Manifesto) as published in The New York Times and The Washington Post in 1995; and a 2001 interview with Kaczynski by J. Alienus Rychalski, special correspondent for the Blackfoot Valley Dispatch.
LCD Soundsystem: The Long Goodbye
LCD Soundsystem blew out their year-long farewell tour with a final hometown show that lasted 3 hours and 41 minutes, turning the sold out Madison Square Garden into a sweaty punk-disco rave. Supported by New York post-punk group Liquid Liquid as well as a handful of special guests, including The Juan MacLean, Reggie Watts and members of Arcade Fire, the electronic dance group pulled out 29 songs in total, including a rare performance of "45:33".

The 2012 concert will feature the second appearance of Mariss Jansons as conductor whose 2006 appearance was widely acclaimed by both audiences and the media. The program for the 2012 concert, on Blu-ray and DVD in its entirety, is once again a skillful blend of well-known classics, several premieres, and works that have never been recorded or are rarely heard. As always, the concert ends with two traditional encores the famous waltz The Blue Danube and the Radetzky March.

In that cold northern city, the young and reckless Haibo (played by Huang Haibo) and the beautiful and elegant Xiaoqing (played by Tan Zhuo) met on campus. Just like those silly boys who are desperate for love, Hai Bo clumsily but persistently pursues love with the help of his friends. He stood on the roof and made a loud confession, and his friends saw that the Christmas tree invited Xiaoqing to dance. Youth is beautiful but fleeting. When they finally come together, they gradually find that the romance of the past is slowly disappearing, and the cold reality makes each other appreciate the hardships and bitterness of life. Hai Bo recalled the dream wolf and impulse in his youth again and again and unconsciously split into a self who ran rampant in the underworld and dared to think and act, and a self who succumbed to reality and made compromises. Under Xiaoqing's cold gaze, the two Haibo started to fight for the long-awaited good life.
