"Slenderverse: Building the Slenderman" from director Alex Hera chronicles the untold story of the Slenderverse: the biggest internet horror movement of the 2010's, centered around the viral icon Slenderman. The film reveals new information and stories about the development of the Slenderman myth, from its birth on the SomethingAwful forums, development through webseries Marble Hornets and EverymanHYBRID, and a network of immersive blogs.
